Looks like the Gtown lawyers...and there are many of them...gave Bobo the heads up on the potential dangers of the SFX workout. Way to go hoyas!

wow! That just made my month hearing that! Having Bowman back is a huge necessity to have if we want to make a run in the NCAAS with his experience and skill level. I cant wait for next season to start. Is it november yet? Just need DJ back 1 more year for the team to be unstoppable.

I guess this counts as news in the middle of June.

I would punch our tickets to the dance just yet. Let's get confirmation about Bowman first and then hope the freshmen play well, etc. But Bowman's return was a sine qua non of a berth.

BB was at Yates today along with the rest of the team, playing a pickup game. He looked great, obviously has been drinking creatine or something because he looks big.
That Green kid was there, he's gonna be good, you believe me.
There was also a tall, really quick kid, thin, 6'7", mad hops, lots of energy, not a great outside shot. Very quick, good slasher with great handle.
Old friends Braz and Boom-Boom were there and played. They looked good, played well.... amazing how Roy towers over Boom-Boom.

I'd love to see who gets the better of whom in that matchup. Whose hands are made of sturdier granite? Only a geologist knows for sure...

Saw Wallace, Crawford, and Junior this afternoon on their way back from McD/Yates. Wallace has put on bulk as well, and Junior looked like he had an intense workout session.
Great day to be a Hoya fan. The chips are quickly falling into place.

::Mouths the words Thank You toward the sky:: Good decision by Brandon. I really wish I was on campus this summer. It'd be so awesome to be at Yates and catch a Hoya pick up game. In the future if anyone has more details on who was there playing, how everyone looks, and if possible who played well in the game, I encourage you to share with the board

Just a suggestion to Admin - it might be good to start an official Kenner League/Pick-up game observation thread where people can talk about how specific players are looking and what their game looks like.

Bobo was hanging at The Tombs last night - NOT SFX (as indicated by the article). A mutual friend of ours texted me around 1030 last night...
"HAD FACE TIME WITH BOWMAN AT THE TOMBS... HE'S "PROBABLY" COMING BACK"

Bowman's back, Summers joins up, the court is revived to its original Blue and Gray form . . .this upcoming season is going to be great.
To the Big East: Beware, Hoya Paranoia returns, notice has been served!

I trust that 'probably' discussed above means only that Bowman is leaving the door cracked about 5% just in case some NBA team comes calling after the Chicago camp. Which seems unlikely, but if there are enough guys who fail to shine and/or pull their names out of the hat, it could be possible.

Man, I leave the US and check the board for the first time in like 5 days from an internet cafe in Warsaw and all the news is incredibly great!!!
Things just seem to be getting better and better. First I read the article about the new AD on georgetown.edu and that gets me really pumped up cause the guy sounds great, then I see that the court was repainted in actual Georgetown colors, then I see that DaJuan Summers committed, then the news that Bowman looks to be coming back for sure, this is freakin'amazing!!!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!! I Love JT III and I Love everything thats happening right now. Normally I'd be this excited about 1 of these things happening, but with so much ridiculously great news at once I dont know how to react, this is sooo awesome!!!! I could just sit around on the floor and do nothing for the rest of the week, because my week has already been made by this news!!!
HOYA SAXA BABY!!! WE ARE GEORGETOWN!!!!!!!
