It is exceedingly difficult for any student, much less student athlete, to complete 120 semester hours in six semesters. I'm not aware of a single basketball player that has done so. Without thinking too hard about it, Jalen Brunson. Last I checked, Jalen Brunson went to Villanova, not Georgetown, and earned a degree in communications. (Not offered at GU.)

I bet it can be done at UNC. 😉

Didn't realize your broad comment was limited to Georgetown only. It certainly happens across the country occasionally.
As it pertains to Villanova's communications degree, our guys typically don't major in Chemistry. Gut classes are gut classes pretty much everywhere. To wit, UNC is a good academic school in the same territory as Georgetown, and you see what was going on there. Happens everywhere, to some degree. Takes these classes. Take these professors. Use these tutors. Here is a binder of old papers and exams.
I can also offer up Hollis Thompson, who graduated in under 4 years. It can be done with summer classes (not to say it isn't exceedingly difficult for a Division I student athlete).

Without thinking too hard about it, Jalen Brunson. Many athletes also take classes every summer -- and online classes. It's not that rare. Jay Williams graduated from Duke in 3 years. Evan Boudreaux now at Perdue somehow managed to graduate from Dartmouth in 2 years!

Jagan was also an ivy league recruit so I've gotta assume he has the smarts and also could have had some AP work heading into Gtown. I get that it is unlikely, but not all of these grad transfers red shirts.

Is there a reason we’re speculating that if he did graduate early he would leave? He still has his eligibility. Why not take some graduate classes?
I’ve never been a huge fan of his, but the past few games he seems to be finally settling into a role and knowing his limits a bit better. Plus he’s been a plus defender for a while. I think we could do far worse than a senior Jagan Moseley on the squad.

Why are we engaging in a hypothetical that he might have enough credits and based off that could potentially grad transfer? Like sure yes that’s possible, we have no reason to indicate that is anywhere near a reality at this point in time.

Hugley is a pretty efficient, high usage guy for CCSU, but Central Connecticut is in a terrible conference so hard to say how much of that would translate to a high-major. Those who are more familiar with him would have a better sense. Shoots 49% from two and 32.2% from three, though he's a very good free throw shooter.
As the lower conference tournaments are held this week/weekend, and teams' seasons begin ending, the transfer/graduate transfer market should heat up quite a bit soon.
