Thanks for the link I'm officially on board with JTIII for next season. JTIII needs a killah in the AI mode and hopefully Tremont is that dude. Nothing like having a closer at the lead guard position. Hope he does what Melo did with UMD.

Loved his talent, but does AI strike anyone as a big-picture, long -range planning kind of guy?

Loved his talent, but does AI strike anyone as a big-picture, long -range planning kind of guy? I think he knows we need skilled guards. I think JT3 knows what to look for now as far as point guards go. The Hoyas need to have an aggressive attack on a consistent basis. It's who we really are. POUND THE BALL INTO THE PAINT. ATTACK, ATTACK AND KICK OUT. NO ONE HAND PASSES!!!

To be expected. He owes everything to JT2. He's like a son to JT2 and a brother to JT3. He's putting in a good word to offset the mess and JT2 calling on the family to come out and defend JT3. Who's next? Pat Sr., who has a son for an assistant? Alonzo, who has that December charity tournament we played last year? How about this comment from JT3: "I don't know when I'll sit back and assess the season." Shows how relaxed he is about his future. No hurry. Job security is nice. What a mess!

Tremont will push Mulmore and Campbell. Push them in what sense? To play better as point guards. Normally, I want my players to know there's someone younger than you that can and may perhaps take your job. This means you have to be better at your job or I'm coming to take it. Hope this helps.

Obviously Iverson isn't unbiased but who is at this point? As far as JT3's comment it was likely his way of dodging the question at a point where he was likely still upset at losing last night. I wouldn't read too much into it.

Tremont will push Mulmore and Campbell. He better do more than push them - he better shove them aside and take control. If he's no better than either of them, it's going to be another slog of a year.

Campbell already has been pushed aside. What would appear most likely (to me) is that Tremont gets the majority (25-30) minutes at the 1, Mulmore gets the rest, and Jagan gets 20 or so minutes at the two (with LJ getting most of the rest if he's back and LJ's other minutes coming at the 3. Tre gets spot duty for a few minutes per game and/or if Mulmore Jagan and Tremont all have fouls.

SINCE TRE CAMPBELL AND JOHN MULMORE ARE STILL OUR OTHER POINT GUARDS THEY WILL HAVE TO LOOK OVER THEIR BACKS WITH TREMONT COMING IN IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M SAYING I DON'T KNOW WHAT OTHER WAY TO EXPLAIN THIS TOO YOU!!! OH, I LEFT OUT MOSELY.
