Congrats to the Class of 2005 on graduation day! It's sometimes a sport to bash the Administration on this site but the Hoya Hoop Club is conducting a great promotion for the Class of 2005 by extending free HHC membership and special pricing on a Young Alumni Section (Sec. 121) season ticket package for next bball season! See the enclosed link: guhoyas.collegesports.com/genrel/051905aaa.htmlI hope and urge all graduating seniors to consider this option; it's a great way to foster school spirit among young alums! I also hope it becomes an on-going tradition among future graduating classes. Kudos to the HHC and whoever else in McDonough that came up with this idea.....

Damn, those seats are stellar! We'll have the youngsters behind the hoop and the alumni behind the visitors bench making a ruckus and hopefully getting the geezer's in 100 cheering too.

This also means that the student section could possibly be behind both baskets now, as they were for the NIT game at MCI against BU. Those are some great seats for the young alumni, can't wait to see and hear them heckle and berate the visiting bench right in front of them.

Just out of curiosity, two questions: what did Young Alumni season tix cost this past season, and does anyone know what the price of Young Alumni tix for this coming season will be (it says the $200 for the 2005 class is "discounted")?
Just asking--still buying the $85 student tickets this coming year, but this will prob. be my last year doing that until I go to the Young Alumni section. Cool that they moved the YA section though.

Congrats to all the grads ... those seats are really good too, although I agree with 007 that I hope that this foreshadows and expanded student section.

Last year, I believe that the young alumni season tickets were $215 ($190 if ordered before a certain cutoff) plus a $25 minimum donation to the Hoop Club. I am excited about the move of the YA section (and the apparent move of the student section), particularly because I've always wondered why G'town let opposing fans sit behind the visitor's bench. Hoya fans certainly don't get that kind of VIP treatment at ND, Providence, or any other opposing venue I've been to!

wondering what this will do to those currently located in 121. i know my dad has three seats there in row F. great seats and i loved heckling opponents when i was able to use the seats. would hate to see my father lose those seats because of this though.
