No. Moten wasn't the athlete or the shooter that Pryor is. Maybe they look alike though.

Pryor has a much better stroke I definitely have been, but I also watched those games live. Hoya basketball was so fun back then. Those teams played so hard. The MOurning years then into the iVerson years were the best. My middle school into high school years.. Watching Moten kinda reminded me of Pryor. Maybe cause they looks alike but I thought there game looked pretty similar. I feel like there was more buzz and excitement then

A little Lawrence Moten in Rodney Pryor's game SLEEPY FLOYD! I don't go back that far. 1987 or 1988 was the first season I watched, or which ever one was Zo freshmen year..

Eric's handle was much better, but I would allow for some similarity in outside shooting and rebounding ability. Sleepy was also a better assist man, and could feed the post. Also a better one on one defender, but that was true of all the players of that era over today's.

Technical aspects of their games aside, they are alike in that they both have that alpha mentality, both have the ability to just take theirs when they want to or things break down and they need to, both are selfish players in a good way in that they hunt their shot, and they both make plenty of them too.

I like how LJ and Pryor are playing together. It took some time, but it's like they've been on the same team for three years.

Maybe it's just me but I don't EVER think, Gee, one of our guy's game is just like some SUcker's. Call me old fashioned but I would rather not have a comparable than be compared to an SU player, whether he is the BEast's all time leading scorer or not.

Making me quite nostalgic - was in Zo's class at GU. Amazing year ended one weekend too early... For my Money there was no better I've watched in a hoya uni than Mourning. I preferred watching Mouring/Zeke even over Iverson/Page... Guy had so much heart, it was a shame he didn't have a better supporting cast come his Senior year. We had the center, we had the point guard but we really didn't have that 2 or 3 guard to balance the line up out. I mean Churchill and Harrison were not Awful just not consistent enough...
