Found an LA Daily Breeze article that combined two of our favorite topics as of late... Confirmed that the Hoyas are not in the Classic, and speculated on Reed's future. www.dailybreeze.com/sports/articles/1553441.htmlReed speculation is as follows: "Former Inglewood High player Ray Reed received his release from Georgetown last week and will look for a new program to join next year. Reed finished his sophomore year and plans to redshirt next season and play two more years. The three-time Daily Breeze All-Area selection averaged 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds in 58 games for the Hoyas. He said Cal State Fullerton is showing heavy interest and that Oregon State is also another possibility. The Beavers recruited Reed out of high school."

Oregon State or Cal State Fullerton? Two not so bad choices right there... wouldn't mind seeing Ray Ray wind up at either of those places. Especially the style that CSF plays, he would be lots of fun to watch.
I like the quote about how he "plans to redshirt next year", as if he didn't have to if he didn't want to.
Best of luck to both him and 'Nelio...

He might be too much of a shock to the CSF system. A defensive specialist who can't score on a high scoring team that doesn't play defense. I wonder how it would work out.
