Interest in these prediction threads is at an all-time low and it reflects the general sentiment around the basketball program as of today.

I am an optimist. I am used to supporting teams through their down years, down decades even. I have never predicted a Hoya loss. I'm from the '82 class. So this is difficult for me.....
Howard wins.
Something stinks on this team. There are different opinions as to why. To each, his own. But I'm wondering if GU might gain by losing this game. Perhaps the best remedy is to hit bottom. Hit bottom well before the opening BE game.
Maybe, just maybe, something that bad can shock this team's heart, can cauterize its gaping wounds and can channel enough blood to its loins. Perhaps the brain and central nervous system will choose the best option under stress -- to stand and fight.
Sadly, surprisingly enough, it's time for radical treatment.
But remember -- the Hoyas have Saxas.....

But lic, if they win by 20 what will they gain? We need them to try to win 20 games, not win this game by 20. Blowing a late 9 point lead to Maryland, losing to Arkansas State, and getting embarrassed in Maui isn't enough?
