ready for another roller coaster ride! lets hope it ends ups with a W. Hopefully Hayes can be that leader on the court we need.

I have fond memories of spending my first Thanksgiving with the in-laws as a married person a couple years ago and being so ready to hole myself in a room by myself to watch the Hoyas play Wisconsin at Atlantis. I basically stood in front of a television shouting for 40 minutes, and I was so disappointed when they came up short. Tomorrow, the Hoyas won't give me an excuse to avoid family obligations, but I do hope they can bring us a win. This game will be a good measuring stick for where we are. Wisconsin is usually a physical, disciplined team. It looked like they weren't terribly disciplined today; they turned the ball over a good bit against Tennessee. I want to see 40 minutes of competing tomorrow and some better shooting from our guys. If we do that, I like our chances to keep it tight and maybe, just maybe, pull out another win. It should be a big boost to have Hayes back in the lineup. With his addition, I'm cautiously optimistic about our odds.

Third year in a row we're facing Wisconsin in a non-conference tournament, "series" tied 1-1. Let's get this win!

I am glad some of us did not give us hope. Let's bring it against Wisconsin tomorrow, and get our second win over a ranked team in two days.

I am very concerned about the direction of this team, but I actually think we match up pretty good with Wisconsin. They don't press or pressure the ball. They've looked shaky to start the year and will surely get better in a few months. We nearly beat them a couple years ago when they went to NCAA championship and we handled them last year. We still have a lot to work on, but think this one is basically a toss up.

I only saw bits and pieces but Wisconsin looked better than Oregon to me. Thoughts? It'll be interesting to see the rotations with B Hayes back. We need the guys to bring that energy from the first half for both halves. Not just because of the opponent. But because this squad can't afford to relax. Get 'em Hoyas!

I'm just hoping for a win, and to watch it live, so I can listen to Rich's call and not be tortured to madness by Wilton or Bilas.

I think Oregon might have more potential, but Wisconsin looks more "season ready" right now. I don't think it matters all that much -- if the "good Hoyas" show up, we will in. If the "beginning of second half of Oregon game" Hoyas show up we lose, and if we get the usual mix, we'll all be drinking heavily and praying for the best.

Of course accidentally going 12-24 from three wouldn't be bad.

Pryor and LJ played 39 and 38 minutes, respectively. No Wisconsin player went over 32 minutes. Hope they have a chance to rest.

A win tomorrow would wipe away a lot of the early season troubles in the past week so let's get it done. I feel it to be a lot like last season early in that we don't know what team shows up and we can certainly play with anyone in the country due to our size and athleticism but we can also be beat by anyone. That last part is what's frustrating but let's get the big W's now and then see what happens as we move on. What's the rest of the schedule for the tournament after tomorrow in a win or lose scenario?

What's the rest of the schedule for the tournament after tomorrow in a win or lose scenario? Oklahoma State is up 10 on UConn right now, with 3 minutes left in the game. Hopefully they hold on, because this does not appear to be the year we want to play UConn twice, since they appear to be really bad this year, which means only risk, no benefit. Assuming Oklahoma State wins, we'll play either Oklahoma State or UNC in the championship / 3rd place game, depending on who wins.

I have no idea about this game. None. I will just sit in front of the tv and watch it unfold. Nothing will surprise me. This team takes Good Brandon/Bad Brandon to a whole nother level.

To try to spare what's left of my well being, I've stayed off the board for the last week. So, how long is Derrickson out? Did he travel to Maui? Thanks...
