I'm sure they will be up to start the game. That seems to be the way......be up for the big teams and fade at the end, be sluggish against the crappy teams and then make a push too late. Rinse and Repeat!

It's hard to even put this thread up after that. This is like asking who will be president in 2020.

Not sure what this program has done to deserve a free trip to Maui.

Not sure what this program has done to deserve a free trip to Maui. Yes, I hate when student athletes from generally disadvantaged backgrounds get enjoyable experiences. It really is one of the great Injustices of our time.

I am on my way to see the Invitational. I currently feel very foolish. It is like they never practiced.

If the tournament is there to showcase teams and these kids are recruited to represent the university in basketball then they should have to prove something before getting to play in that tournament.

I mean, what? Uconn is also going and they lost to both Wagner and NorthEastern and Oregon lost to Baylor. You don't prove anything for a preseason tournament.

That just means it will be a bad tournament. I still have little faith much has changed from what I've seen. Tonight was a complete disaster. Blame the players all you want but that's on a coach to have them ready from the jump.

What does that have to do with (already over worked)college athletes apparently being undeserving of a basketball tournament in Hawaii where they are giving up their Thanksgivings with their families because they didn't win a couple of basketball games?

Would expect to see a sense of urgency from the tip instead of waiting until the 2nd half. This tournament will show what this team is made of. Hoping the guys show some heart and put the last 2 games behind them

Hoping the guys show some heart and put the last 2 games behind them I thought the end of the MD game would have driven some urgency. It's getting old as we are now explaining this away over multiple seasons now.

There is only one question relevant to this tournament:
Will we be able to beat Chaminade next Wednesday.

Great opportunity. We'll be playing with house money, hopefully JT3 can coach loosely.
I hope many of you will continue to tune in and root for the team, no matter your thoughts on the coach.

I'm hopeful, for whatever reason, they will come out next week with renewed vigor.

I watched the MD game with hope.
I watched tonight with expectation.
I will watch Monday with dread.
Rule #1 for Monday - if Moseley takes a 3, he sits the rest of the game.
