I'm sticking with my pick that Hall ends up at DePaul! There were rumors he was going to announce on Saturday, instead of his teammate Shakeel Moore. He's built different. Plus if he was going to NC State, I think would have announced alongside Moore at the showcase event they were playing at in Raleigh, NC aka NC State backyard so he could get that local NC State love that Moore got at the event. We will see how it shakes out...

Let’s play a game.
If the Hoyas beat Duke tonight, then there will be significant evidence to the basketball world that Patrick Ewing’s rebuild is well on its way and that the current members of the team are legit performers. This seems to be the big question with the Hoyas as it relates to elite recruits and landing them at Georgetown..
If the Hoyas win, will there any short-term recruiting significance? (Does a certain undersized forward sign his commitment? Does it accelerate an official visit from anyone?). What do you guys think?

Might help with Sibley but not if we weren't sitting pretty beforehand.

Perhaps, but I wonder if it might help in some way with a Mane, Moncrief, etc. It will be interesting to see what we can discern in the activity you track so well.. Hopefully, Patrick will be on the phone with his top targets before or after the game tonight including them in the experience.

Current kids probably not. But it will open the eyes of future kids looking at Georgetown as a viable option.

Given where we are in the 2020 recruiting cycle, my guess would be that results from this season will have more of an effect on 2021 and 2022 recruits than 2020 recruits (other than reinforcing for players like Sibley, Williams, and Harris).

I was going to say 2022 and beyond....juniors and seniors are pretty set in their belief about schools/coaches....

I will say if P. Ewing has had much of an effect on how quickly Wahab has adapted to the college game, it should help recruiting immensely. I do recall in the preseason and up until the last two games that Wahab was a "future" prospect, who would play out after Yurtseven left. Well, I think he has arrived.

At the end of the day it's just one game, and it's in the middle of most prospects HS season. It would be a nice win, but even for the kids that are paying attention it would likely be forgotten by the time they get around to making a decision. It's also not really what they will basing their decision on.
A sweet 16 run could be impactful. More kids will be paying attention to the tournament. But it's always more about showing these kids that their wanted and laying out a path of how you plan to use them in your program.
A scholarship is like a job offer. If you're mulling over 10-15 job offers at the same time what would make you want one over the other? Think along those lines, and you'll realize what matters, and what does not imo.

Think along those lines, and you'll realize what matters, and what does not imo. Of course you are right YaBoy... but if last night was a harbinger of what's ahead?!?!? I don't think we will be worrying about recruiting for the for a while. OF course, this being HoyaTalk we will anyway! OK, I'm heading out to MSG Now. WIsh I could bring each and every one of you with me. So much fun last night. GO HOYAS!!
