Rivals just updated its top 75, lots of DMV kids, Hoyas targets include: 13 Jaemyn Brakefield 15 Hunter Dickinson 17 Jeremy Roach 33 Earl Timberlake 54 Che Evans 56 Justin Lewis 60 Adrian Baldwin 63 Terence Williams 66 Darius Miles 68 Elijah Wood To me, this will be THE make or break class for Ewing - needs to include several top 100 recruits, given the amount of time Ewing's staff will have to recruit the kids and the fact that so many good players are local. Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 Kentucky will host Rivals75 sophomore wing Elijah Wood tomorrow for an unofficial visit @rowlandrivals

Elijah Wood Georgetown is also one of Wood’s favorites. “I love Patrick Ewing, how Coach [Robert] Kirby has come in and told me bad things about my game and what I can work on to get better,” Wood said of Georgetown. Wood has had more recruiting activity with Georgetown that any other school combining visits to campus and visits from coaches. He attended Georgetown’s game against Villanova earlier this season. Wood sits on the right in the photo below at the Georgetown game. Wood has taken two unofficial visits to Georgetown, one to St. Joesph’s, one to George Washington, one to West Virginia (for the West Virginia/Kentucky game) along with the one to St. John’s. Wood has been receiving interest, but no offers yet, from some of the nations top programs, namely West Virginia, UNC and Kentucky. Wood said that Kentucky will be coming to his AAU games later this year. It came as no surprise when Wood told me that the schools he had higher interest in at this point are the ones he has actually visited. Wood said that he plans to visit other schools on his list down the road. “Anyone who will come talk to me some more, I’d be happy to go see what they have. I really want to get out to visit more, just to experience the college feel,” Wood said. It’s clear that Wood has a lot of potential, and being just a sophomore, he will have time to develop into a better player before stepping on campus at whichever school he chooses. If the pass-first guard can fill out his 6’5” frame in the weight room, he could be even tougher to stop. His recruiting process still has a long way to go, but for now, St. John’s is certainly a contender to land this high ceiling point guard. www.rumbleinthegarden.com/2018/2/18/17008662/recruting-profile-2020-pg-elijah-wood-st-johns-bethesda-chevy-chase-georgetown-west-virginia

It appears we're positioned well in the early stages for earl timberlake in the 2020 class. He's a must get. Have/hope to keep him home. What makes you say we are well positioned? I very much hope you are right, I am just curious. He already has a Big East body and will be a superstar as his shot progresses. Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 Maryland is hosting Rivals75 sophomore wing Earl Timberlake today for an unofficial visit@TerrapinNation

Akeem Odusipe is relatively young to the game of basketball. He didn’t pick up the sport until he was 14. “For a guy that is only his second summer in America the upside is crazy,” said BMaze Elite Director Bobby Maze. “Puts him in a position that he will be right there. Has some high-major (offers). What is going to separate him is time. Getting better and getting stronger.” Odusipe is on the golden path to college with numerous top offers already. “He has Kansas State, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Georgetown and a couple others,” said Coach Maze. Just after AAU wrapped 2018 6’5 G Sardaar Calhoun (VA) has received an offer from #ETSU . The TeamLoaded VA star is one of their wing targets in the Class of 2018. Whomever the ETSU staff signs they will be placing on the wing, they will be plugged into the rotation with Tennessee-raised 2017 wing Bo Hodges (Maplewood). www.prephoops.com/2017/08/etsu-elite-camp-react/
