Unfortunately, neither of our men qualified in the 1500m. With the 18th and 19th fastest times, Spencer Brown in 3:48.54 (10th in heat 2) and Ahmed Bile (9th in heat 1) finished out of the "money."

Emma continues her great running as she finished 3rd in heat one with the third fastest overall time with a PR of 2:03.33. Sabrina finished 3rd in heat 2 with the 6th fastest time of 3:03.74. Sarah finished 4th in heat 1 and qualified on time with the 7th fastest time of 2:03.78. Unfortunately, Heather did not finish. I think she might have fallen as there was another women in her heat, who did not finish either. Heather indeed did fall. Courtney Clayton of Vanderbilt fell right in front of Heather and she went down too. In the men's 1500m a protest was filed on behalf of Ahmed, because he was interfered with, but the protest was denied.
