Thought that this would be an interesting topic. There may be some questions over what position I put some players at, but I did what I thought was best.
If you had a $15 budget, who would make your roster?

$3- M. Jackson DSR Otto Monroe Hibbert
$2- Joey Brown John Duren Bill Martin Sims Mutombo
$1- J. Wallace A. Freeman Craig Shelton B. Bowman Merlin Wilson
My 5 would be Jackson, Wingate, Shelton, Monroe, and Alonzo

Need the two best: AI and Ewing. Then I'd take Freeman, Otto, and Michael Graham or Jerome Williams at the 4 for $1.

Bowman as a PF? When? Should have used Don Reid instead.
OKay...Ewing ($5), Sleepy ($5) ---why break 'em up----, Monroe ($3), Shelton ($1) and, ehhhhhh, Wallace ($1).
Great topic. For a moment I was leaning towards going with Otto ($3) at SF and taking a $1 PF.

Give me Ewing, Green, a $3 Charles smith, Austin freeman and Brandon Bowman and I'm still a dollar short. Would take Gene Smith as my 6th man for a buck.

MCI beat me to it. Floyd, Ewing, Wallace, Shelton, Monroe. I could possibly be persuaded to substitute Austin for Wallace, sliding Eric to the 1.

It wouldn't be the most balanced team, but to be honest no one would beat a team of AI, Ewing, Monroe, Shelton, and Freeman

For someone that became a Hoyas fan in 2001, $14 gets me Wallace, Freeman, Green, Sweetney, Hibbert.

For a moment I was leaning towards going with Otto ($3) at SF and taking a $1 PF. I like the thinking of Otto at $3 and a $1 PF, but I really don't like Bowman being listed as PF. I think Otto would be a great complimentary player. Give me AI and Ewing, with Freeman, Otto and Bowman I guess (if we can't substitute Reid at the $1 PF slot). AI and Ewing (and Otto some) would cover up any defensive liabilities of Freeman and Bowman, and the scoring would be incredible. Another option, Iverson and Sweetney for inside/outside, with Mutumbo for defense, and Duren and Shelton on the wings. |

No one would shoot even 30% against that lineup.

If it’s only 9, take out Mutombo and Hibbert. Put in Sweetney and Shelton.
