What a difference a month makes! Kudos to III and the staff for getting out there and not just accepting what happened this year but actually making moves to ensure it doesn't happen again. This team is gonna look a whole lot different next year and for the better. Getting really excited for November! Welcome to the Hilltop, Rodney! Hoya Saxa!

Head coach John Thompson III and his staff, in particular assistant coach Kevin Broadus, made Pryor (who is immediately eligible) a top priority, as a need to shore up the team's backcourt was glaring. Last season he dropped 18 points, eight rebounds and 1.9 dimes each time out as a Colonial. For his part, Pryor loved interacting with Georgetown's team and coaches. So our starting lineup is peak Pryor copeland govan, and who else? I'm assuming the final spot would be between Paul and Marcus.

Wouldn't be surprised if he were our leading scorer next year. While it'll probably be Peak....Pryor will be right there.

@ hoyapac, you have the best Avatar ever! Thank You! It is from the JT2 HOF ceremony. It took a decent amount of work to crop it, but I felt it was well worth it.

GH69, if your 4 are the starters the 5th would have to be either Tre or Jon. You would be throwing out a lineup without a true PG. I know most are down on Tre but he has the best handle of our returning players......

t.co/C9cRDpqLCs"The history, the tradition, the brotherhood really stood out to me. Everything felt like it was a family, Pryor said. "They checked all the boxes I was looking for in a school and the need and want for me, and off the court having a Georgetown degree is second to none."

I know most are down on Tre but he has the best handle of our returning players...... It is an interesting dilemma...are any of the incoming guards (JuCo, Grad Transfer, True Frosh) a PG or is each accustomed to playing off the ball? Tre may still be the "truest" PG on the squad but he leaves an awful lot to be desired on many "true" PG characteristics, e.g. court vision...watch Tre run fast breaks last season and how rarely he made the right decision on either a pass or take. He has good handles and is quick, but it about ends there. And I'm not trying to troll on the "true" PG label - just asking a serious question. Unrelated, but in line with my stream of consciousness thoughts above, I really hope JTIII can put all these disparate, but talented, pieces together into a whole is more than sum of its parts type thing in the upcoming season. It will be a challenge no doubt, especially in the back court with athletes ranging in age from 18-24. Of utmost importance is that he figures out the RIGHT starting lineup and the RIGHT rotations so we don't find ourselves in the recurring nightmare of this season, down 10 by the under 16 mark...Good luck to John and the coaches...it will not be dull. Kenner League will be fun if all these dudes are playing!
