Not sure about Agau's situation because he transferred mid season.. TBH I think he loses the half of year I don't think the NCAA would give him 3 years of eligibilty and I doubt he would want to wait until Dec to play again. Also there's a finite number of semesters he can spend on a College campus and still be eligible.. Eligibility is by academic year. If he had played the half year this year, he could have only played 2.5 years. However, he only played freshman year. One year of eligibility. Thus, he's got 3 years of eligibility left and that's completed in 5 total seasons. It would be no different from an end of year transfer who would spend a total of 5 years and 10 semesters in college. Thus, I'm pretty certain he's got 3 years left Agau played 3 games/11 minutes during his sophomore year at Louisville before they shut him down for the year due to (I think) a sports hernia I don't know if you can request 2 medical redshirt/hardship years (one for his soph year, one for this past season). If so, perhaps Agau can play 3 more seasons. But it may well be that he can only play 2 more years. Also - he has spent three years in college already, he'll likely graduate at the end of 2016-17. Would he want to/be permitted to play as a graduate student for 2 seasons?

Paul would be a Soph prob. Still 6 is a lot, 2018 is going to have to be a good year recruiting wise.. I don't know if you are counting Akoy in that group of 7 in class of 2018. He will be playing as a RS Sophomore next year because of his injuries at Louisville so conceivably he could be playing for GU through 2019. (Of course he could transfer after finishing his degree). Nonetheless it is a large class and I hope JT3 does something like find transfers to take some of those spots. That would create more balance between classes and help us avoid these teams with a lot of underclass men and only a handful of upperclass leaders. Probably White changes/class eligibility year too if gets the RS.

Oh sorry, I did not realize he played a few games his sophomore year. In that case, I may be wrong.

Yes to the last part and yeah the first part is why I'm confused... Oh sorry, I did not realize he played a few games his sophomore year. In that case, I may be wrong. Yeah Akoy lost a semester of eligibility from his sophomore year at Louisville which sucks because he played like only 4 games and he barely played in those games. He couldn't appeal to get his full sophomore eligibility back with the NCAA because they came out that year and said they were no longer taking transfer appeals to play immediately. It was strange because after the NCAA made the announcement that all transfers had to sit out a year no matter what, the NCAA gave Kuran Iverson immediate eligibility at Rhode Island after being kicked off the team at Memphis. Akoy Agau was left with 2.5 years of eligibility. The confusion now is if Akoy Agau is ready to play at the beginning of next season, does he have 3 years left or 2 years? Does he have to wait until December to play? If he has 3 years left that would mean 6 years of eligibility which is allowed because one of the years was a transfer redshirt year and the other was an medical redshirt year. Knowing the NCAA he will have 2 years left and would have to get a special appeal to get a 3rd year.

He definitely won't need to wait until December, but the 2 versus 3 year question is one I'm not positive on. It's an odd situation since the medical redshirt and transfer year overlapped.

No way Agau waits until December. We were able to figure this mess out with Josh Smith, and his situation was much less clear. Any way you look at it, we need a healthy Agau from the first game next year, so assuming he is healthy (knocking on wood) he'll suit up.

When someone transfers mid-year like Agau, they need to wait until the completion of the first semester the following year. Agau transferred after the fall 2014 semester. Had he not gotten injured, he would have had to wait until the completion of the fall 2015 semester to play. However, since he was injured and missed the entire year, there's no reason why he would have to wait for December.

Were Mulmore,Walker and Boyd there all at the same time? Would be great if they ran pickup with some of the team.
