According to the Maryland 247 site, he was offered by Georgetown yesterday. Maryland and Ohio State are apparently sniffing around as well.
Averaging 26.1 ppg (second in the country), 5.9 apg and 4.3 rpg. Listed at 6'4". Originally from New Orleans, played his high school ball in Houston. Would have two years of eligibility remaining.
#22 in red in the clip below.

Absolute scoring machine!! Lots of schools are on him including WVU. Maryland was into see him today. Our staff is extremely high on him, love his speed, his ability to score and his toughness. He has Stevie Francis type of athleticism. He and peak would be nasty together.

Mulmore's a bit of a slasher. Likes to break opponents down off the dribble. Has a bit of an attitude. Reminds me a little of Ashanti Cook...but quicker, better...taller - can definitely get to the basket.

I liked his long pass. He has more than one way to move the ball quickly up the court.

From watching the highlights the kid can absolutely score the ball and reminds me a little of LJ, with the strong body and aggressive nature going to the rim. You don't see a lot of real PG skills in the highlights. It doesn't even seem like he plays the point for his current team. I realize these types of highlight films are not usually used to showcase defense but the few times you see him playing defense he get beats off the dribble pretty easy. The Hoyas already have enough guys with that skill!!!
Hard to tell from a film so if the staff believes he fills a need lets go get him.

This staff has not been able to identify players who fill their needs - or maybe they just have no idea what their needs have been. Either way, they've been lost the last few years even when signing good talent. Hard to trust them or their recruiting instincts.

Welcome to Hoyaland kid, where it takes almost half a day for the discussion of a promising new prospect to deteriorate into coach-bashing.

The fact Huggins is interested says he probably has a lot more defensive ability then is shown in his highlight films.

Tough kids that are willing to put the ball on the ground and get the the hoop. That will lead to baskets, FT attempts, and cause the other team to collapse. LJ isn't a "passer" but his driving has opened up his dish game more as the year has gone on. Jonathan wouldn't be the answer at PG but he would be a great pickup at G.

I see LJ too. Of course, I'd prefer to have a true point, but Hometown is right, we could definitely use more LJs. That is, if we use them properly. DSR and Peak were the only ones that could actually create their own shot this year. And we lose the only 1 of those 2 (DSR) that had a reliable outside shot (although to be fair, that shot was less reliable this year and LJ's improved). So, I'd be a big proponent of getting a true scoring guard. BUT JT3 HAS to speed up the offense AND defense. We are going to have a bunch of guys that can run and score, but not so much in the halfcourt, nor will we have that great of a defensive team on the perimeter (yes, it gets better with Jagan but he's a freshman and Mulmore doesn't look good defensively, and unless Tre improves a lot, I don't see him as a plus defender in the halfcourt). So, to me, our best bet by far is to be a pressing team and a team that runs, consistently. This isn't out of a style preference but as a necessity based on personnel. If we don't, I officially give up.

I am not disagreeing that having another LJ would be a good thing. I compared him as a compliment to Mulmore. Would love to have a few LJ's on the team, but they really need a true point guard next season to help facilitate getting LJ, and players like him, the ball in places were they can excel. They tried to make a scoring guard, DSR, into a point guard this year and it didn't work. Get a real PG that can control the pace of the game and make his teammates better, and stay in front of the others team small quick guards, and then surround him with a few LJ's.
