Nevada, thanks for the updates, some great results coming in! You're welcome. I forgot to watch the ball game, so engrossed as I was in watching meet. But I did see the final 1:12 of OT, not a pretty sight.

Meanwhile up in Boston alumna Rachel Schneider broke 4:30 in the mile:
1. Sheila Reid 4:27.57 2. Rachel Schneider 4:28.5 3. Morgan Uceny 4:29.08 4. Violet Lagat 4:30.11 5. Shannon Morton 4:35.74 6. Emily Lipari 4:35.76
Sheila Reid is Canadian, so Rachel was top American in this race.

After this weekend the women stay at 11th, but the men fall all the way to 39th. All the conference championships/meets on oversized tracks produced some good times for the men, so our men were bumped down. This weekend was also the last weekend for NCAA qualifying (by time), so we shall soon see who is going to Alabama.

The top 12 DMR teams qualify. The women are #2 in the country, so they will definitely go. The men have times are are 8th and 11th, so they are going.

The top 16 declared athletes make each individual event. So for the Hoyas we have
800m men 14. Joe White
800m women 2. Sabrina Southerland 14. Andrea Keklak (20. Heather Martin) (21. Emma Keenan)
Mile men 12. Ahmed Bile 13. Cole Williams 16. Amos Bartelsmeyer (20. Michael Lederhouse)
Mile women 3. Andrea Keklak 16. Katrina Coogan
3000m men 13. Ahmed Bile
3000m women 10. Katrina Coogan
The individuals in parentheses has a chance to move up in those ahead of them opt to run another event or have a medical problem. For example, if Ahmed runs just the 3000m, Mike Lederhouse moves up to 19, and if three others opt out, he will be in. The same with the women's 800m. If Andrea opts to run the mile, Heather and Emma move up one.
