Of course, you have seen someone drop 28 in a second half. Pre-diabetes AF was the best.

Butler/Purdue, UVA/Nova & Cincy/Xavier are the last three biggies for OOC opps for the conference. Xavier is better then Cincy and I haven't watched UVA much or Nova but think that is winnable. Butler will have their hands full with a huge Purdue team but scoring is not their strong suit so could be interesting. We have to hold serve and if we can do it, the Big East will once again have pulled off a lot of solid OOC W's and should be well positioned at year end.

They have almost everyone back from last year except Alex Barlow. But barrows been replace by Ty Lewis who maybe better point. They can also bring out an athletic long lineup for defensive situations or against athletic teams so they have good depth and can matchup against many styles.

But there are other big games for RPI purposes. Marquette plays Wiscy this weekend (would be a good win for them), Butler plays Tennessee (who isn't great, but they're not awful and it's a Big-5 opponent) and St.John's gets a crack at Cuse this weekend (not that I'm expecting a win there). It's also just as much about avoiding bad and middling losses at this point -- you make up ground on other leagues if you just avoid the bad loss. The league is already very well positioned and should continue to be absent a crapping of the collective bed in the next few weeks.

Iowa State students stormed the court after they beat Iowa as they should have especially on their court. In the process they break the leg of a reporter.

Georgetown-UConn is pretty big, too.

I think there's a good chance Nova loses to Virginia. Virginia is going to force them to make 3's and they are not a very good shooting team coupled with the fact that, a good amount of the time, they guys shooting the most are not the guys that should be taking the majority of the shots. Jay Wright better correct that fairly quickly or they're going to be in for a rude awakening.

Wisconsin is clearly down but still a good road win for Marquette and the Big East. The BE has quietly had maybe the best OOC season of any conference.

Xavier plays very hard, Sumner and Reynolds look like pros. Fun team to watch.

Last second winning shot under review for Texas upheld. UNC goes down. Closest call I think I've ever seen.
