Saunders just mentioned Ellinson to makeit even more of a headscratcher plus he's 10x's better than Stone right now... Uconn can't shoot for chit.. Gotta keep them out of the lane when we play them (zone) Agreed, though Stone looks like he's improving. He's looked better tonight than he did against us. With regard to UConn, their half court is atrocious. If they don't beat the D down the floor, they're in big trouble. And their defense is not good. I don't recall a single guy fighting over a screen and it's killing them. I'm feeling better and better about my standing bet with a UConn fan at work when our Hoyas play them.

And I wanna hate Melo. It's just very difficult to do when I watch him play even though he's wearing a UMD jersey. I hate myself quite a bit for that. Other things too. But that especially, right now.

Call me crazy, but I like our coach's approach to T's better than this.

In Jesuit basketball news, Fordham put up 22 points in the first half last night against LIU-B, trailed by 9 at the half and then scored 67 in the 2nd half and OT combined to win by 5. Tale of two halves.

If y'all get a chance watch the SMU/Mich game on ESPN2. SMU may be the best passing team in the country. Those kids really share the ball. That's because Larry Brown lit the ball on fire. Over/under on when SMU goes on probation?

Providence leading Boston College by 14 at the half, but Kris Dunn (illness) and Ben Bentil (injury) will miss the second half. Could make for a very interesting second half.

Over/under on when SMU goes on probation? He's already set to miss 9 games this year and they have a post season ban for the season. Somebody who otherwise wouldn't be in the tournament this year is going to get lucky.

Providence wins 66-51 against Boston College. BC got as close as four points in the second half, the Friars held on without Dunn and Bentil.

Terrific win for Providence after losing their top three scorers. On the flip side, how bad is BC to still get blown out after that?

How much of BC's team had gotten sick at Chipotle? Wasn't there a chance they were going to have to reschedule?
Not to defend Benedict Arnold College or anything.

It has to be a good sign for Provvy that Bentil was back watching the second from the bench without so much as an ice bag strapped to his ankle. I can only assume that Cooley was being cautious. And, FWIW, they hinted that Dunn has a stomach bug.

Soooooooooo sad to see Benedict Arnold University lose to a Big East foe... I get the feeling we aren't the only folks in the Big East to enjoy a cool glass of schadenfreude over that one. What goes around has a way of coming around for those with no sense of loyalty... Ex-BC coach Al Skinner still hurt by way he was fired

Uthoff from iowa was unconscious in the first half. Can't remember if I've ever seen someone drop 30 in the first half.

Of course, you have seen someone drop 28 in a second half.

Of course, you have seen someone drop 28 in a second half. As a CT resident and UConn hater, I can say I certainly have. That may be one of my favorite games ever.
