Maryland still struggling to put away Illinois St. Is it possible they just aren't an elite team and not simply one working out the "kinks." I know it's early in the year, but I think they will likely fall well short expectations. They should be buoyed by an impressive record in a wildly mediocre Big 10 though.

Uconn scared to take jumpers or they're just bad shooters.. Cuse up 7... Gbinije and Tyler Lydon looking really good..

Uconn scared to take jumpers or they're just bad shooters.. Cuse up 7... Gbinije and Tyler Lydon looking really good.. UConn was killing the zone the first ten minutes, exploiting all its weaknesses. Then they just stopped and began settling for bad jumpers. Then they just looked completely confused. Agreed on Gbinije. We may have trouble staying in front of him. Roberson also worries me a little because he grabs so many offensive boards. Cuse inst great, but they may be a bad matchup for us, especially if they are shooting like last night.

Cuse by 3 Most likely they will be a top 15 team when they reach Verizon...
They're a 100% jumpshooting team tho, no post up presence. If they're hitting shots they will be tough to beat..

Both teams will give us trouble on the rebounding end. Very long and athletic. Gbinije will be touch matchup for guards.

Cuse played 6 people tonight. Coleman is one of the 6 and he only played 15 mins. I didn't watch the game but unless there was an injury to someone or foul trouble, I don't think anyone can beat us only playing 6 players.............Plus if there is one thing that JT3 has always done well is dissect Cuse's zone.........

We've got to rebound better. Right now, we're pretty sad.

Monmouth beat ND. Yikes. Another though OOC game on our slate. I guess the bright side is they will be a pretty good RPI opponent.

They don't play man and they don't press so the low number of players that see minutes really won't mean much. They played yesterday and looked like they had more than enough left in the tank today. Going to be a good matchup one that we will have to play very well to come out on top..

For those who watched the games, how does Charlotte play? UCon? How did both handle The Syracuse Way (now everyone has a Way)?

I have to be I've that we won't sleep on anyone else this year. With the their schedule and wins, Monmouth could definitely be a top 50 RPI team. I know it's only November and we are not allowed to discuss that, but winning the rest of our OOC games is huge. (Although losing at UConn wouldn't hurt too much)

That little 5'8 guard for Monmouth has been cooking teams this year. An easy 20 most nights, he's tough to contain..

Technically not a game of interest, but Stanford ends the game on a 21-1 run to catch Arkansas in the last 10 secs. Got to feel really bad if you are Arkansas right now.
