If JJ was a judge of the dunk contest does anyone know if JJ Jr. was in attendance? One would hope that was the case! I saw somewhere that he was.

Yes, it sure does make it easier, but no one seems satisfied with the quality of periscope. So, let have the university go out and buy a spanky new HD production quality camera, cost in the 6 digits range, and look to improve that for you guys for a couple of hours of entertainment each fall. Seems like a reasonable way to blow 100k. Huh? THEY HAVE STREAMED IT BEFORE. No need to buy anything they don't have. Also, you don't need a $100,000 camera. Even if you wanted to use that level of equipment -- which is not necessary -- you could actually hire a crew. I personally don't care; midnight madness is pretty dumb and boring the world 'round. But your arguments are non-sensical. Georgetown has always been crappy at streaming and the big reason is they don't care. Not sure if it's accurate, but Casual Hoya said that streaming wasn't available this year or last year because of the contracts with the musical performers. Definitely would make sense given that the performers have been higher profile.

Is it impossible to shut off the camera before the music?
B.o.b was the year before when there was streaming.
Also, last year the entire intro video and dunk contest video was posted later. Have we seen those yet for this year?

Is there any confirmation that DJ Harvey made it to the party? Different media/scouting outlets had him visiting Notre Dame this weekend.

Much of the event was streamed live on Periscope and was still available to view on Saturday.

Cameras allow the recruit to sit at home and doesn't get the staff any potential FaceTime with the kid. Also, Madness night is not a scheduled game which would have contractual rights with a broadcasting company. Two completely different events. I love how you say we shouldn't have the proceedings streamed online, but you talk about the staff FaceTiming with recruits.

Face time as in "in your face" not on an iPad.
Further I never anywhere said they shouldn't broadcast it, was simply pointing out reasons why they weren't doing it. I watched it two years, watched some of this one on periscope. You guys simply love to imply thing based on what other people write.

6'5 SG from Tennessee 17' ESPN 4⭐️G Parker Stewart's recruitment is picking up. Offers:Nebraska,Wyoming, Memphis,Kan.State,UC Santa Clara,SC As fans of the Blue and Gray know, Hoyas head coach John Thompson III likes for his players to be able to be utilized at a number of different spots on the floor and the staff appears to think that Stewart, who is being recruited to Georgetown by assistant coach Kevin Broadus, is that type of talent.
"Yeah, he said he likes my game a lot," said Stewart when asked about his conversation with John Thompson III. "And he said you have have to be able to shoot the ball to play in their offense and I'm a good shooter. And also he likes my game because I can play a lot of different positions and in their offense everyone is interchangeable."The coach continually talks about interchangeability to the media & recruits, I like this philosophy a lot..
