Nice to see Hoyas recruiting greater NYC area hard. That is nice to see and you have to think that Coach Orr is probably the lead recruiter in that area, along with coach Ewing. Those two should have great contacts in that market that should open a lot of doors for the Hoyas. Hopefully those open doors turn into players in the near future.

We need some big talented guys to join our ranks. Most of my our players are quite slim these days.

“Georgetown, Stanford, Oklahoma, Xavier, Yale, Princeton, Illinois, Indiana, Syracuse, St. John’s, Ohio State, and Arizona are some of the schools involved,” Igiehon told HoopSeen.com. Igiehon’s recruitment speaks volumes about the state of his current game. At 6-foot-10, the rising junior has fantastic hands and footwork in the paint. He dominated on the low block with his strength and size and even showcased a variety of post moves in his arsenal. Igiehon finished over either shoulder, but really excelled with his step-through to counter a hook over his shoulder. He also showed good signs of being a quality defender for his size with the ability to help and recover in pick-and-roll situations. www.hoopseen.com/news/player/201706/nike-elite-100-spotlight-aidan-igiehonDay 1 Afternoon Standouts #BeElite '19 Khalif Battle '18 Justin Steers '20 Richard Springs '19 Aidan Igiehon '19 Tyson Etienne

Igiehon is from Ireland...don't know if he's Catholic, but if so, playing at the nations oldest Catholic university in the nation's capital with top academics (which he seems to value) for a HOF big man might have great appeal...glad to see us involved as I really like what he brings to the table...

Prospect who's stock is about to Blow: Oscar Tshwiebe (6'9" Post Team Loaded VA 2019)
Oscar was unranked as entering the spring with only 1 Offer (West Virginia) and is now starting to pick up offers. Offers in the last week include Oklahoma St., Rutgers, and Pitt.
Oscar Tshiebwe originally from the Congo but is playing his high school ball in Virginia and on the shoe circuit with Team Loaded (Virginia). This kid is a BIG TIME Athlete who's just scratching the surface basketball wise. At 6'9" He runs the floor like a Cheetah on the hunt and plays with ridiculously high motor. Whether it's crashing the glass or coming over from helpside to block or change shots, Oscar gets after it. I had a chance to see him play in person with Team Loaded in May and while he doesn't get a ton of minutes because of Bacot (19) being a much more refined prospect and David McCormack (only because he's part of the 18 class), but his upside and understanding of the game especially on the defensive end is definitely a lot higher than McCormack's. As someone who's coached at the high school, AAU, on the shoe circuits and upwards, it's quite obvious that Oscar can play and has tremendous upside once his game gets some polish on it.

Trae Broadnax (Montverde,Florida) | Southern Stampede
From the outset of the tourney, it was clear that this kid was on a mission. The 6-foot-3 point guard attacked defenders at every opportunity. He made a living getting into the lane scoring and dishing it off to teammates for easy baskets. Most impressive was his ability to connect on the stop and pop pull-up jumper in transition as well as his consistency from beyond the arc in the half court. On the defensive end, he used his long arms to disrupt opposing ball handlers and played passing lanes superbly. All in all, Broadnax displayed his entire repertoire, which earned him offers from Georgia and Florida State by tournament’s end.
