Unless they are a top 100 recruit who is getting out of a verbal Hoyas don’t need any of these under the radar late bloomers.

Would only be interested if he is a high level athlete who game is raw that plays hard. seems like this video kinda fits that bill. seems more like his game is strictly interior. Could be a good backup for what LeBlanc provided this year. If he can develop range I'd be ecstatic. Unfortunately we need more 2/3 types then traditional 4s. I agree. he isnt that great a leaper to take. I do want a guy like Enzi from Seton Hall on this team.

They have to be released by the school which usually happens upon request. We could get another center?!!!!!

Nico Mannion is a MAJOR talent that will be the first call from every school in the country the day he is released.

I am hopeful that we can land a solid SG/SF during the end of year lottery. This is when Pat can quickly work his magic. Transfers and fifth years also in the mix.

I’ve learned not to put too much weight on Rivals or ESPN player rankings. With the exception of obvious super stars it’s hit or miss - mostly miss.
In regards to what’s needed next year to complete at a high level - a shooter with length who can knock down shots and spread the floor.
A good majority of the NBA were players not ranked very high.

We’d all like to see the team do well but historically it’s true with the exception of obvious superstars.
Steph, Klay, Lilliard, McCullogh, Kawaii, Russ, Paul George, D.Wade, Olidipo etc..Jabari Parker came to Milwaukee Bucks with more notoriety than all currently on the team. The guards / wings I reference can shoot and/or defend.
Think about who’ll be drafted after Zion in the top 6 of the upcoming draft and their ranking in H.S.
At the end of the day, I hope we improve and get a quality wing who can knock down shots- shoot of the dribble and spread the floor.

Regardless of ranking, I'd be delighted with 2 or 3 kids as good as Josh, James & Mac!

Anybody have any info on this guy...size, game, abilities, level of interest? Kadary Richmond is one to watch as a senior. 6'5" wing he blew up over the summer playing at the hoop group events. He finished the tournament on the first team with some pretty big names; Scottie Lewis, Khalil Whitney, Seth Lundy, Zach Freemantle, Paul Mulcahy, CJ Wilcher. Thats an impressive group and it earned him offers from Kansas St and Wichita St. Nice to see PSAL kids getting respect nationally. NYC HS basketball gets slept on and im not sure why. The PSAL and CHSAA are extremely tough leagues. redmen.com/forum/recruits-2019/273277-isaiah-richards-pf-south-shore.html

Regardless of ranking, I'd be delighted with 2 or 3 kids as good as Josh, James & Mac! Don't know if you're being facetious, but I'd say you get that lucky (and yes, hitting on 3 outside the top-50 who are studs is luck regardless of eval ability) once in a generation. Pat and Co could recruit for 35 more years and never match this season's diamond-in-the-rough factor. Pat's gameplan better not be to live and die by guys from 51-150 every year or we are in big trouble. Look, I get that both LeBlanc and Akinjo were rated guys, but both have greatly exceeded expectations. And Mac has wildly exceeded expectations re to ranking. You can't count on that year in and year out. Not even close. You miss on as many guys as not even in the 25-50 range, much less lower. Give credit where it's due to Pat an Co., but they/we were also very lucky.
