DJ Harvey also showed up. The high schoolers and college players haven't mixed much yet.

I'll gladly take the first suggestion. The latter part will never happen, as nice as it might be. I don't know. Scouts at the camp this past week have generally thought that Copeland is more than a year away from being ready for the NBA. I hope that's the case. Isaac looks like a guy that has a lot of trouble putting on weight (lucky guy!) and he will need a good amount of muscle added to his frame to maximize his potential at the next level. He improved his D and one could see his confidence grow over the course of last year. He can be a top tier college player sooner than later but not many guys can have that translate at the next level at his current size. Then again, a lot of the draft is on potential and Isaac certainly has that. He seems like a really bright guy and I'd be surprised if he made a decision that wasn't right for him. It's difficult to hope for big things from him this year without realizing that, if that happens, it makes it all the more likely that he jumps after his sophomore season. That said, with absolutely no numbers to back it up (only a gut feeling), it seems like the guys that aren't definitely ready after one year seem to be more often better served by 2 more years at the college level as opposed to one.

If I were an NBA scout, I saw all that I needed to see in a 2 play sequence versus SJU. Dribble drive one handed slam going down the lane, followed by a pull up three off the dribble the very next time down court. I'm glad we have him this year.

Sometimes, when I'm having a bad day, I Google Isaac Copeland dunk. Instant smiles.

This is a very important recruit for the staff imo.. I agree. Seems to fit our system, and in the ranking range that we do well with. Who is our biggest competition for him?

Indiana & Florida right now.. With Yogi leaving they have immediate pt in a guard friendly system.. IU scares me.. As always though who are the fall back kids?

Only my opinion but IU probably leads... Pops was gushing over their presentation, also supposedly going back for an official Before HS starts.
Looks Like a IU Gtown battle if nobody else Jumps in with Florida lurking as E stated above...

There's a decent chance Crean will be gone with another mediocre year, though...

They probably will be pretty descent though, the Williams kid is going to be a Monster this year, and the Big 10 has a lot of Scrub Teams..lol

But I do think the staff is being much more realistic with the type of 2016 recruits they are pursuing than many of the 2015 kids they went after.
