No academic powerhouses in his final 5. I guess it doesn't matter when you can ring the register in a couple of years.

Likely going to announce soon. Maybe goes to NC State given Keatts recent recruiting streak? Going to be honest, I was bummed at first when I found out he wasn't considering us anymore but that's probably because of that five-star rating and nothing to do with his actual talent. I was never overly impressed with his play and I always got a bit of a vibe that his skill level didn't match his stellar rankings.
Definitely would have loved to have him on board but I'm perfectly fine missing out on him and getting a hungrier kid that really wants to be hoya but might not be the highest rated currently.

Nobody is hungrier than this kid. He's the hardest playing kid in the class. That's why he's a 5 star, moreso than skill.

Now may not sign until the spring... Keldon Johnson, the 6-foot-6, 215-pound small forward from Oak Hill Academy (VA), likely won’t sign a National Letter of Intent this week and could wait until next week or the spring, his father told ZAGSBLOG. www.zagsblog.com/2017/11/06/keldon-johnson-may-wait-spring-sign/

Him and Grimes. I think one goes to Texas the other goes to Kentucky.

Texas is not really in it anymore. Most think KY with MD right behind. I would bet on Calipari.

That has to be good for Texas right? I don't think Texas is in the final 2 for Keldon. I spoke with Kaleb last week and he wanted to keep a lid on it for his little brother to have his moment, so nothing official, but my gut says Kentucky.

Man that sucks. Shaka spends 2+yrs developing a relationship with the kid and Calicheat swoops in on the 11th hour and steals the kid. I know Keldon is a good kid but I can't help but to root against him now.....

Anybody but UMCP...Texas would be my choice, as they would seem to hold the "loyalty card"... I'd never root for Calishadi except in this case over UMCP...either way, I would have kept Broadus on the staff...he was a proven successful recruiter..

Calipari and Turgeon come from the same coaching tree. They both learned from the master of shady recruiting under Larry Brown at KU.
