South Region - Duke bracket. Portland, OR. 4 seed.
Time to start a win streak.
Gottlieb: "They're dying to be upset."
Apparently the Committee has a higher opinion of the team than many here.

It's about a 5 hour drive from Eastern Washington University to Portland, and many of their alums end up in Seattle and Portland. What was that thing about the top 4 seeds not being slotted into de facto road games?

Couldn't believe a #4 seed. Where did that come from? Gottlieb should have graduated from Maryland, because he is really a Twerp!!!

#136 kenpom and much tougher game for the 5 seed on the other side.
Any complaints?

EW is small. Their center is 6'8" and 230 lbs. Joshua should be a challenge for them.
Their top player is a 6'4" guard. We have the personnel to shut that down.

Gottlieb is a Edited. No respect for the Big East as a whole. He didn't think Nova deserved the 1 seed either.

I guess the EWU gym was booked on Thursday and that's why we're playing in Portland. Thanks for the road game for the 4 seed. Total BS.

They can hit the three, so they could be dangerous.
But overall, not as complete an opponent as many of the other potential matchups (such as SFA, who, if we win, could be our opponent in the second round).

Gottlieb just all over us. Can't say I'm surprised. Until the Hoyas prove othewise, he'll just be 1 of many that'll bring this up.

#136 kenpom and much tougher game for the 5 seed on the other side. Any complaints? I was coming to post the same thing. SFA is 36 or so in Pomeroy. What else do we want. We got a team that is like 270th in Pomeroy defense. Stop complaining and listening to the noise, folks. This is a pretty good draw.

We need to dominate the paint. I'm not saying force the ball into Josh because when we do, he tends to pick up that one questionable offensive foul. When he's open, get him the ball, but need to crash the boards, we should win the rebounding and second chance points.

Does anyone have a scouting report? Can they shoot? I'm expecting a big game from DSR, Josh and Ike. I'm expecting DSR and Brilly to keep the team together if they make a run.
