I mentioned this in the 12th game thread over on the football board but I think it may make for good discussion over here. I don't have a solid opinion either way but when I saw it mentioned elsewhere the idea intrigued me.
Will the addition of a 12th game speed up the football-hoops rift in the Big East with the BE football teams having to find as many as 5 out-of-conference opponents in a season?
Will that affect the discussions at Nova about I-A (as ludicrous as they might be)?
Are there any other considerations that come into play?
I'm basically just asking for opinions on whether this will speed up what has been discussed in the past on this board.
