*- home team Higher-ranked team losses are in bold
FINAL SCORES #2 Virginia 50, Virginia Tech* 47 Ohio State* 82, #23 Indiana 70 #14 Wichita State* 74, Drake 40 #4 Duke 77, St. John's* 68 Butler* 77, #24 Seton Hall 57 #10 Louisville 80, Pittsburgh* 68 #20 Northern Iowa 54, Illinois State* 53 #8 Notre Dame 81, North Carolina State* 78 #4 Villanova* 71, Creighton 50 #13 Maryland* 68, Northwestern 67
IN THE SECOND HALF #12 Utah* 46, Washington 38 (14:31 to play)
Huge choke job by Northwestern. Up by 11 with under five minutes to play. Likewise, NC State had a five point lead with less than two minutes to play and could not hold on against Notre Dame. Bad teams continue to find ways to lose games, as much as good teams finding ways to win.

No chance, blew an 11 point lead with 3:30 to go Well at least Maryland's SOS took another hit. Dropped to #64 while the Hoyas stand at #4. Off Topic. Was surprised that George Washington was only ranked #53 in the RPI until I saw that its SOS is #171! And that is despite having played Wichita State.

Record versus RPI cut-offs has been more important. It tends to correlate, but I think the key numbers are record versus Top 25, Top 50 RPI and bad losses (losses to teams over 100 RPI).
