Typical St. John's game. Start out strong and run out of gas because of a dearth of bench options. I don't believe that we will have to count on Steve Lavin for anything, Big East Conference-wise, after the conclusion of this season. yet theyll somehow show up for all 40 mins when they face us. sir'dominic will make every basket.

SHU got blitzed on the road. I don't know if they're coming back down to earth or what but they have not played well recently and I think have a very small margin for error. Still a tough game for us no doubt, but our better probably beats their best if we don't give the game away.

The loss of Isaiah Whitehead by Seton Hall is proving too difficult for the Pirates to overcome. There is a lot of finger pointing going on in South Orange, and a lot of it is now being directed at Kevin Willard.

After a pretty fantastic run through 2011, Pitt has seemingly come back to earth, no? This year is looking like the NIT, which would be 2 times in the last four years. And the other two years, Dixon got an 8 and a 9 seed and only has one tournament win in that time. The move to the ACC seems to have really hurt their recruiting, which always did best in NYC and DC.

Yep. A run of elite hoops that I would say started in earnest on January 20, 2001 seems to have concluded. Good. Enjoy the ACC.

Well, someone has to make up the bottom half of the league. . .and that's why the ACC brought in Boston College, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech and Syracuse.
