The indoor track season really gets underway tomorrow at the Father Diamond meet at GMU. The women are ranked 10th in the pre-season polls for indoor track, while the men are ranked 38th. Georgetown does relatively better in the indoor arena, as the events are focused more on middle distance and less on field events (no discus, javelin, or hammer (although the weight throw takes the hammer's place indoors). Tyler Smith qualified for the 60m finals with a time of 6.991 for 4th in the semis.

Results for the 4x400 relays:
Women finished 2nd in 3:53.04 with Desiree King, Sabrina Southerland, Piper Donaghu, and Jody-Ann Knight running the legs.
The men's A team won in 3:21.15 (beat GMU by 0.05 s) with Joe White, Nate Gordon, Billy Ledder, and Nick Sullivan
In the meet scoring the men finished 2nd to host GMU with 137 points to GMU's 213. The women also finished 2nd to GMU with 146 points to GMU's 160.
