I hope this kids reliability is better than his grammar.

I saw PE2 out another night, and it looked like he was having a great time. I think our players are doing a great job with hosting recruits on these visits.

Nobody had still answered my question that what if PE Jr. transfers, but good old dad picks up the bill, does he still have to sit out a year?
I don't think so. Walk-ons aren't governed by the same rules as the scholarship players. If PE Jr was smart he'd ask his dad to do write out the check now. No player wants to loose a whole year of eligablity.

As far as my understanding goes, PE would most likely have to sit out a year if he came here and Dad footed the bill. The same rules would apply in that situation as they would in a scholarship-scholarship transfer. However, there are exceptions to the rule. I've read the exceptions, and none of them seems to apply clearly in this case.

i dont think he would lose a year of elligibility no matter what he decides. i just think he has to take a year off. he would still have two years left when he was allowed to play in 06-07.

Transfers don't lose a year of their eligibility, they just have to sit out a year. So PE Jr. will have 2 years of eligibility left when he transfers, AFTER he sits out a year.

if PE2 came to visit gtown this weekend then he is definitely coming. this was possibly the best weekend of the year with the weather, springfest, bands, bbq today, and great parties all weekend.

Minion, agree about the weather. However, I believe that PE2 has left, as I think visits are restricted to two nights, although I may be mistaken. I saw him out on Friday night.
