Why is his minutes down. What is going on. Yeah, really? Paul has been a negative lately. He looks lost at both ends.

Slumping a bit, should have a break thru in the next couple of games…
Would like to see him and Ike play well at the same time.

Paul has hit the freshman wall. He was getting some attention for his play, other teams scouted him and now he needs to adjust. Not easy for a freshman to do. He hit a nice mid-range J against the zone last night, but that was really his only contribution. Would like to see coach run that play a few times and get his confidence back up which will carry over to his defense.

At some point you have to wonder if it will happen this season. I don’t think the duration matters, he’s proven to be capable. These things can change at the drop of a dime, we were saying it about Ike for 2 and a half months. His last good game was against Nova so hopefully he plays well Saturday.

Would love to see it, we sure could use another option.

Another disturbingly weak performance by Paul so far.

I think the lost of minutes earlier in the season has negatively effected him One minute you are six man next minute you are barely playing.

Paul played plenty of minutes until his play went downhill. I know that doesn't fit your "Blame the Coach for everything" mantra, but it is crystal clear.

Josh has done a good job of limiting his minutes all on his own thus Hopkins gets more minutes.

Give other players a chance to compete and push the other player in front of them to perform. Confidence with certain player can be fragile and I think that's where JTIII lacks in coaching. He hasn't made too many player better when they left the program.

Let ask you. . .how would you reallocate minutes, based upon the present makeup of this roster? Who isn't getting playing time that should be?
And if you are reducing minutes from players that are presently getting minutes, please explain to me how that would not affect a "certain player [whose] confidence. . .can be fragile" when their minutes are reduced?

Pat Ewing Jr. Henry Sims. Just to name a few. And on this year's team - um - DSR. Aaron Bowen. Jabril Trawic . All better than when they came in, without question. Try again.

Paul White Stats
Since the first Villanova game on Jan. 19 which Paul White scored 9pts on 3/3 FG's he has played 71 mins., and has gone 3/17 FG's (17.6%) for a total of 10pts over a 5 game stretch including today.
I beg to ask, if giving Paul White more minutes is the answer then what is the question?

We need Paul to have more minutes - because this team goes nowhere unless Paul and Ike can step up their games down the stretch. The Big East cauldron can get awfully heated for newbies, but hopefully they have survived the worst and can rediscover their games.

I thought Paul played much better in the 2nd half last night, he seemed much more energized..
The one message the staff should push to him is to MOVE.. During this slump he makes one cut thru on offense, then just stands outside the 3pt line watching..
His 3 shots in the 2nd half all came off of movement..
The foul line jumper he missed came after a strong flash to the foul line..
The dunk off the nice pass from Copeland was aided by his moving towards the hoop instead of staying still..
The 3 came off a nice curl thru the lane..
His shot looks more balanced when he moves into his shot as opposed to when he's stationary..
Paul won't be a big scorer on this squad but he can be a consistent contributor the rest of the way..
