The inconjuction with the White to Smith alley-oop..
The Hoyas offense looks much better than last year's
3rd straight game scoring 70 plus vs the opponent.
Also now a Bradley Hayes sighting.

Copeland seems to be the least developed of the freshman class. Part of that is simply being very impressed by everyone else, but did anyone expect this would be the case? Still expecting great things from Ike, but he also seems to be more than an adjustment or two away from being the stud we all know he can be. When do people think we are going to see him as a significant contributor?

When do people think we are going to see him as a significant contributor? It seems this way to me too. I thought one of the criteria for 5 star was 'impact ready" at the college level. He is behind a logjam of people at 3....and he lacks the strength and thickness to be a viable replacement for Hopkins. I still trust the staff....I will wait patiently for Ike to blossom at this level.

"Significant" won't happen until next season.

We gave away our 25 pt lead in garbage time. Good game for Josh. DSR got 12, but his jumper isn't quite DSR yet. Like the 6 rebs and 7 assists, though.

Final Thoughts:
The Final Score is closer than this game really was.
This game was never in doubt since the 1st half when the Hoyas built the double digit lead.
JTIII continues to use a 11-man rotation in correlation to a talented team...
And for that he deserves the kudos he gets.

At most, this will be a ten man rotation (sorry, purplefilms and prhoya, but I don't see Hayes in the rotation right now), but Copeland and Cameron may see fewer minutes depending on how they are doing on a game by game basis, and there are certain combinations that we've seen so far that will not be replicated. We'll get a better sense of rotations and combinations this coming week, starting with the game with the Gators.

I think we'll see a smaller number of players getting more minutes, but 10 to 11 playing more than 5 mpg.

Good, solid win! Going back to the first game for a sec., we need to be careful with the game by game analysis. We clearly have many options this year on this team. Not every player is going to rise to our lofty expectations of him in each game. Copeland can and will play and contribute to this team. He is a caliber player. Let's just cool our heels and give him time. We were beating up Josh after that first game. Just give them time.

Reggie is 2 of 9 so far from 3. He better get going or his pt will go down quickly.
