I thought he was a swing man, played the two and the three. That boy threw down several nasty dunks for us in his time with the Hoyas.

Mark Tillmon and Duane Bryant were always listed as guards with Jaren as the small forward.

www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1598725-visits-going-well-for-jaren-jacksonWith those two visits in the rearview, two more are coming up soon, starting with a trip back to where Jaren Jackson Sr. and his wife both attended college. “Jaren starts fall break this week, so we have two visits that we are going on coming up,” said Jackson Sr. “We are going to Georgetown this weekend for their Midnight Madness which is on Friday night. Then next weekend we are going to Michigan State for their Midnight Madness.”Good to know he'll be on campus this weekend for MM..

Great to have Deke there. Georgetown. Family. Continuity. Loyalty. Hall of Famers.

All that was missing was Alonzo for Trey to complete the legacies.

Visited Butler on Sat...
No. 74 6’9 ’17 Jaren Jackson of Carmel/ Park Tudor
Jackson is an extremely long and athletic forward. He has an impressive 7’2 wingspan and has a soft touch in the paint that can be extended out to the 3-point line. While in the post, he can use either hand and can score in multiple ways. That being said, his shot blocking ability may be this strongest attribute currently. He has impeccable timing and remarkable bounce. He gets his hands on a lot of shot attempts and has the ability to change the course of the game with his shot altering ability. He’s a top prospect nationally and we expect his stock to continue to rise.

Was at the game last night as a visitor to Maryland. Now that would be a slap in the face.

You mean he was on an unofficial visit on his own? Or that he was invited to the game by Maryland and he visited?

Not upset about that, but the Hoyas need to sign JJ Jr. Huge # 1 priority as far as I am concerned.

Only the host team can provide tickets to a player. Hoyas have done this in the past for other teams and their recruits. Both teams have an interest in JJ. He got to see a highly competitive game that made both teams look good.
