2-0 final. Not the Sharpest game, but good to get in the win column.

Men with a dominant 4-1 win over Wisconsin. Hoyas were up 3-0 at the half and 4-0 early in the second. Wisconsin's lone goal was a horrific PK call.

Nice way to open the home slate with two solid wins.
This team is going to be very fun to watch this year.

BIG EAST Honor Roll
BRANDON ALLEN, GEORGETOWN Jr., F Totaled four points on a goal and two assists in Sunday’s 4-1 victory over Wisconsin. Tallied six shots in the game and eight for the week.

The proposal for some additional work on Shaw Field was on the Old Georgetown Board's consent calendar for last week, so it should be approved by CFA and then the DC government in relatively short order. I, personally, have no idea what the scope of the work or its timetable is.

Hoyas Suffer a heart breaking loss. They controlled the whole game, went ahead on a brandon Allen goal int he 50th minute. Gave up a late equalizer with 12 minutes to go. Then gave up the golden goal in OT with 52 seconds remaining in the first OT. Had way more chances than VCU. Way more shots, corners and possessions. Ugh. Very frustrating.

No rest for the weary as the men get a chance to bounce back tomorrow at noon on Shaw field vs. #9 UC Irvine. If we beat them we shouldn't drop in the polls and will keep our momentum.

Down 1-0 at half. Took Harry to meet Coach and team before game. Hoyas dominate possession and chances but Tigers score against the run of play.
Princeton goalie very tough tonight.
Ref should wear a mask when he picks up his check.

Entertaining game to watch and to have on national TV.
As Elvado said, Hoyas dominated possession, but could not finish. Princeton keeper really earned his non-existent scholarship and clawed a goal back off the goal line in the 1st. Hoyas unlikely to end the first half down a goal, which Gomez probably could've saved at least a third of the time.
Continued dominating the run of the play in the second, was really just a question of whether they would be able to break through. Once they did, with Allen scoring a borderline-Espindolaesque goal, Princeton deflated and the Hoyas got some vigor (that is to say, some piss'n'vinegar) in them. Rudy - who ESPN informs me is dating the daughter of a former Real Salt Lake head coach (WTF?? Really, we're sharing this on TV?) - knocked in a bomb very soon (2 or 3 minutes) thereafter when the Tigers let up after a player from each side hit the grass, and Martz scored his first collegiate goal to cap it off afterwards. Once it was 2-1, the game was over for all intents and purposes, as the difference in physical fitness between the teams became overwhelmingly apparent. Princeton was completely gassed.
Glad Brandon got that performance, goal, and win in front of (reported) 300 friends and family.

Great highlights...thanks! Superb passing and two great goals! I think the refs stole one at the beginning.
