Katrina Coogan is redshirting this season; she could have been very helpful on the DMR, as her Olympic development mile at the Penn Relays running unattached shows (just barely the 2nd collegian):

The women's 4x800 produced a third place finish for the Hoyas. I was expecting one or two 2:04, 2:05 legs, but Nova and Oregon were the class of the field.

I was expecting Chelsea Cox to run a leg on the 4x800 relay, but I believe there is one 4x400 relay that she should be a part of.

It looks like it was Villanova's relays as they won the men's 4x800m to go with the women's title in this event too. And the Hoyas were, as the women, 3rd place, and as predicted, sub-7:20. The two freshmen, Ryan and Amos, performed nobly, as Ryan had the Hoyas 2nd after the first leg, and Amos split a sub-1:49. I had expected Bill to be a sub-1:50, but it was not quite.

Amos had, in fact, the fastest 3rd leg and the Hoyas fastest split.

Some solid efforts by the Hoyas but i have to hand it to Villanova. They got it done on both the men and womens side.

Yes, you have to give a tip of the hat to Nova, as they took on powerhouses, Stanford, Penn State, and Oregon, as well as the Hoyas, and came out on top in many of the important middle distance races. Given that, I think we did well too.
