Marquette's Steve Taylor has announced that he will be transferring out of Wojo's program. Smart move he isn't gonna get more than 10 mins a game next year with the 2 big guys coming in.

I guess that Pittsburgh is a good place to start your college career before you choose to transfer elsewhere.
EDIT: Almost forgot. . ."Liars and Traitors will not be missed." A classic from the Stonewalls. Still holds true.

Marquette's Taylor is already a junior. Wonder if he is leaving voluntarily.

They're bringing in 2 good bigs, but he's 1 of only 2 (Fischer) inside guys that'd be coming back. Plenty of playing time there. A transfer and a year off now seems really tough. Looks like there's more to the story.

I go and ball out as a senior on UIC or Illinois St. If i was him to make sure I get a good league overseas.

@jonrothstein: USF point guard Anthony Collins will transfer & is immediately eligible for next season.
Ranked 21st and 7th nationally in assist rate in his fresh and soph years respectively. Might not be a bad pickup for next year.

Might not be a bad pickup for next year. Just saw that news. I haven't seen him since he almost literally ran circles around us in 2013. Based on that day, I'd take him in a heartbeat. (I'd probably rather have a shooter, like McGlynn -- but I wouldn't have a problem with AC.)

Are we assuming the open scholarship we have for next year is definitely going to a transfer/5th year senior?

Might not be a bad pickup for next year. If Collins is leaving USF, I would expect that he wants to go to a place where he'll get the same starter minutes he would have gotten at USF (as well as gong to a better, more high profile program). I would be very surprised if he is looking to be backup, even at a stronger program than USF. So I don't think he would likely see Georgetown as a serious option. he fits our needs well as an experienced pure PG, but I don't think we fit his needs very well.

This may be the case and would not be surprising but there are many cases of kids taking decreased minutes and a decreased role for a chance to win. He would be a great change of pace at PG and would give DSR a chance to play off the ball. Biggest downside is his inability to shoot from the perimeter and seeing how that has hurt the offense this year, a better shooter might be the better option if 3 decides to take on a 5th year.

Are we tracking Paschall from Fordham? I don't know Bubbles but I doubt it considering how loaded G'town is at the wing position.. Kid can play though, no doubt about it.. Other BE squads trying to get in.. @adamzagoria: Fordham G Eric Paschall is considering visits to Villanova & Providence, source tells @snytv

Then we would have PW at the 3/4, and LJ and Johnson at the 2/3. Even if we bring in a guard to spell Tre, we could use shooting on the wing. pr is arguing elsewhere we needs guards who can shoot it for the offense to work. I don't entirely disagree (though I would like to see a guard who can break a defense down in the halfcourt for when we get stagnant), and Paschall would seemingly fit the bill. His 3 pt % fell off at the end of the year, but he was hurt. Can it hurt to kick the tires? Unless the staff feels very confident about Gibbs and/or LJ and Kaleb's shooting, then this is all moot.

Providence has announced that Tyler Harris, who will be graduating this spring, will be transferring to another school as a graduate student with one year eligibility remaining.

This hurts them NJ, Cooley has to hope Dunn comes back.. When you take his past injuries into consideration, I doubt he comes back..
