An excellent article...a lot of people romanticize the past, forgetting about how gritty and hard it was back then on minority coaches to even get an opportunity. Also what was perceived true in the early 80's is G'town with its roster was deemed the "It school" in the black community. Interesting to see Corliss Williamson with Nolan Richardson from '94, Williamson stated that he would have came to Georgetown if JTII would have recruited him. Too bad we missed out on that one. |
