What kind of guy would follow his sisters to their college? No way he goes to Missouri.

Now, now! I know you really want him to come to the Hilltop, but no need to jab. Especially, when I followed my sister to the university she went to.

I assume he means he might not want his sisters around while he's trying to have sex with random coeds and or getting drunk.

Let's bring him in three years early and let him attend class at Georgetown Prep. Just trying to be creative.

My point was that young Mr. Porter doesn't need his sisters paving the way for him at some giant state school. Why follow them when he can instead follow his wise cousin and be king of campus on the Hilltop? If he comes here Otto will also be able to hook him up with lots of NBA related fun while the Wizards win a couple of championships in the next few years.

The thing is most of the guys on the team play with the nba players when they come on campus to play. Ive seen John Wall alot at GU.

I've seen this too, and then there are the Kenner games where players show up. Wasn't it a year or two ago where Jabril was with D Wade? Is this something that is unique to Georgetown?

We dont even know if they are THAT close. True - we don't know for sure, but: When Porter was recruited - and since - there were a ton of articles about how close the Porter Family is and how they all play hoops together at Grandma's house - Dads, sons, uncles, cousins.... So while we don't know, it would seem pretty darn likely that they are. Second, if I were an aspiring D1 baller, and maybe even had a long term goal of reaching the League, AND I had a cousin who had just done both of those things, was BE POY and a #3 pick in the entire draft, I'd make it a point to make sure I was as close to that cousin as possible. OK, no sure thing. No quotes or other rock solid evidence. But I'd say the odds heavily favor "close" over "not close".

I'm not saying this to disparage Otto, but having him disappear to the end of the bench and be considered a big flop in his rookie season may serve to temper some of that enthusiasm. Hopefully Otto will make strides with the Wiz in the future and his rookie season will be forgotten.

Eric Bossi @ebosshoops 54m 2017 6-7 wing Michael Porter from Columbia (Mo) Tolton and 6-9 Jeremiah Tillman from East St. Louis (Ill) East have crazy tools. MoKan 16s
Eric Bossi @ebosshoops 53m Porter a very highly skilled 6-7 scorer/shooter who can handle and has feel. Tillman can run for days, bouncy and long.

There's a time and a place for everything, I think that's the point he's trying to make. What does that even mean? The problem isn't that he wants to spend time with his sisters it's that college may not be the best time or place to focus on that.

I saw somewhere that Porter is the god son of Washington coach Romar....which could make things more interesting.

Hopefully Otto will make strides with the Wiz in the future and his rookie season will be forgotten. The cousin will not have less enthusiasm when his cousin is making 4 million dollars a year. I seriously doubt he considers Otto a flop or failure for having picked Georgetown and getting 4 mil to sit on a 2nd round playoffs teams bench.

Also it's a bonus to have your cousin in the same city and in the same arena if he goes to Georgetown. *with the caveat that who knows if Otto will still be with the Wizards by time Michael matriculates.
