Rarely over the many years I have followed the Hoyas can I recall serious pursuit of a JUCO player. For those of you who follow recruiting much more closely, are the Hoyas are even tracking any JUCO players. Seems that the need for a big next year may have to come from a transfer immediately eligible to play (see Oregon) or a JUCO kid with the length. I don't know if JT III has some expressed preference for not going that route or if we simply have never found a player from the JUCO ranks who could come in and contribute.

Just a guess on my part, but I would think most JUCO kids would have a hard time academically at GU and that's why JTIII has avoided that avenue.
