I'd say 2. May will be an average player in the NBA. Marvin Williams if he gains 20 pounds and stays at least another year, will be a decent power forward in the league. Thats it, in my opinion. Raymond felton will be a bench warmer at best in the NBA. Rashad McCants?? See Joe Forte and Donald Williams for past undersized 2-guards from UNC.

You may not like their player's chances in the NBA, but they have six guys who are mortal locks to be drafted. Jawad is on the edge, but he was playing well before getting injured.
All the draft sites have Marvin as the number one pick in the draft nowadays - top 3 at worst. Why would he stay? They feed you in the NBA too, so he should be able to add that 20 pounds.
McCants is a hell of talent. So was Forte. Don't conflate Forte's substance abuse issues with McCants being overly emotional on the floor. They aren't the same thing. I don't love McCants game, but he can score at any level. I see him as a Ben Gordon-type player over his career. An ideal sixth man on a good team.
May is a monster, but if he measures out at 6'7'', he will go in the second round.
Felton is a top-20 guy too. Again, you may not like it, and you may even be right, but all those guys are going to play in the NBA.

Marvin Williams will not be a power forward but a small forward. A very good power forward. He reminds me of a Kobe but a smarter one with better common sense. May will be a a pretty good player I think. As long as he keeps off the jelly rolls and he hits the weight room and hits the tread mill then he can become a pretty good pf. Felton and McCants just seem like they got the same future ahead of themselves. And some are saying Jawad will make it to the NBA so I see him as a 7th man in the NBA but coming off the bench for some speed at the 4. But, by far, Marvin is the best player on this team.

Marvin Williams will be a starter in the NBA. I think Felton has the next best chance. Don't know about Sean -- I think he is in the Sweetney zone. McCants will make it, but I can't see him being Dwayne Wade, but rather pursuing more of a Jim Jackson/JR Rider career path. He's definitely better than Forte.

He didn't just run and jump.

may is going to have the same problem as Wayne Simien. They are both too short. They are beasts at the collegiate level, but playing that position in the NBA they need to be a few inches taller. I think simien is the better player because he has great range. mccants is overrated. williams is the real deal, as is felton.
hopefully we will be having the same discussion about Hoya players in the coming years.

McCants is the only one that doesnt have promise for the NBA, but some team will give him a shot. Jawad Williams is a borderline 1st round pick.

You never know about May. You look at some players in the NBA who were great in the NCAA but when they got into the NBA their height really hurt them. But, then you look at a Carlos Boozer who was picked in the late 2nd round and now is a stud at the NBA level even though he is a pretty short power forward. It just matters on your athleticism and with Boozer you have alot of it and you also can look at Marion of the Suns whose 6'7 but playing the pf position. He is an all star at that height, so it just matters if May wants to put alot of time into it and work really hard.

Forte was actually good in college. He didn't just run and jump. That's what I meant - McCants will be a better pro. Of course, what I wrote does not say that.

McCants is short, like 6'2" short, even though he is listed at 6'4". Forte was better than McCants in college.McCants will ride the pine in the NBA, at best.

As far as ready for the league next year?
4
Felton McCants May M. Williams
Jawad Williams may get a shot...just because he went to UNC...
There could be more on their roster to eventually make it into the league...
