One more bash Nate thread. Actually i think Nate could be a valuable piece to a team that has more talent. His rebounding and toughness are great attributes. The issue is we need guys to produce and having a starter that really brings mostly intangibles is not good enough. He'd be a great 6 or 7 th man. A guy who can come in and mix it up. So honestly no knock at all.

I agree. It is a sympton of a team having one or two holes for the last few seasons. For the record, I only bash Nate's FT% at this point and I gave kudos to him last year after improving over his soph year. What's happening with it this year is unbelievable. I hope that as inexplicable as it is, it suddenly turns around and he ends the rest of the season with a 70%+ FT%,

If we had consistent scoring at the 3 and any scoring at the 5, Nate would be fine. With Josh out and no scoring at the 5, you are now hosed with nate at the 4 as you essentially have consistent scoring at only two of five spots on the floor.

Sorry if you missed that.

I actually like Nate. I think he is actually skilled around the basket when it comes to scoring. i though this year he was going to be a lil more aggressive at least taking those midrange shots around the foul which in turn gives the offense a totally different look but I guess not

Does anyone think Lubick might have a neck injury? Just before he releases the ball on his shot, he always flexes his neck as if he is in pain. He did the same thing yesterday while making a two-handed overhead pass on an inbounds play. He has completely abandoned the little left-handed hook shot that was so effective last season. He plays like he might have a bulging disc in his neck.
