That metaphor is completely unfair to Lucifer... Not to mention that there's zero evidence that Cal lies to his kids about how much he's going to pay them.

I actually like the scenario of Rabb visiting UK before Gtown. I want the Hoyas to have the chance to close.

Comanche to Arizona. Have to think this improves our odds slightly.

Comanche to Arizona. Have to think this improves our odds slightly. Been waiting for the Comamche decision to take place. Of course a few weeks ago I was hoping on this thinking Arizona was the toughest competition. Now it make be $UK or Cal.

Comanche to Arizona. Have to think this improves our odds slightly. Was just thinking that while this doesn't eliminate Zona from contention for Rabb, it seems like it doesn't help them either bringing in another top post player in the class. If nothing else, it's one less scholarship that they have to use going forward.

I mean we have Govan coming in so theoretically this just makes the roster situation even.

I mean we have Govan coming in so theoretically this just makes the roster situation even. Exactly. I mean it's kind of funny that when people discuss Rabb-to-us, it's all about, a player as good as Rabb isn't worried about who else committed or the current roster. But when it comes to other schools, all of a sudden Rabb is scared off by Comanche's commitment.

Comanche appeared to be "scared off" by Govan's commitment so perhaps it is only wishful thinking on our part.

Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 32m Expect for Arizona to finish off class with 1 more big. Involved with Ivan Rabb, Stephen Zimmerman, Carlton Bragg, and Caleb Swanigan

Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 32m Expect for Arizona to finish off class with 1 more big. Involved with Ivan Rabb, Stephen Zimmerman, Carlton Bragg, and Caleb Swanigan Rabb chatter to Arizona had cooled considerably so zona shifted their attn to Comanche. Cal and Kentucky are the two biggest threats now.

Interesting that no ACC is in the mix. It's nice knowing that we still are.

Does it look like we'll be getting an official visit at this point, B&G?

Recent article on espn: espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/11512505/rankings-week-offers-biggest-snubs-nba-college-basketball-recruiting Points to issues with Kentucky. They are so deep with so much marquee talent that in some cases (Dakari Johnson, Marcus Lee) they just have so much front court depth that Rabb might got limited time. I haven't scene the kid but that would weigh on my mind if I was a recruit and was looking at a one or two and done deal. They now have the kid from Indy coming in this year who is a big and a guy like Cauley Stein has hung around. Maybe out of need (he would still get drafted on potential) but if you really want to develop, it seems to me that playing time is key. If not for their tourney run this year, their season is probably viewed as a disappointment.

If not for their tourney run this year, their season is probably viewed as a disappointment. That's why Kentucky isn't all that scary. They have a huge backlog of big men that were supposedly "one and done" when they graduated high school, but have hung around Kentucky. Calipari's system of bringing in new players every year that get full minutes has sort of broken down. If it comes down to Cal, Kentucky, and Georgetown, I think those are good chances for us. Cal is obviously the hometown team and they have a ton of playing time, but it's unclear how good they will be in 2015-16. Kentucky may not have playing time. We will be both good, and there will be a lot of playing time.
