#3 prospect according to espn. Staff loves his game and is making him our top priority. He'd be the perfect fit....need to see how this plays out.

Do you think the staff will pursue Rabb over Stone or Dickerson? I'm all for the staff going hard for these top prospects but I hope they develop some solid backup plans in case their 1st choices go elsewhere.

Have seen him play many times in person - live in CA. He's outstanding. Every team will be on him. While he'd change the program, I wouldn't get our hopes up. Kid is going to be an outstanding pro.

Dickerson is a fine player, playing 4/5, but the talent level between Rabb and Dickerson is HUGE. Rabb is a almost certainly be an NBA player, potential lottery pick. With that said, someone said Rabb intends to stay on West Coast. Was it RDF that mentioned we do not have a strong chance with Stone? Dickerson is probably our main target, because he is most likely to come to us. Not certain about the other two.

Very good player. Would be a tremendous addition for Hoyas, but may be a longshot. I understand he is a major target for UCLA and Arizona. Alford has been to see him several times already.

Every recruiting site lists him as a PF not a center, considering that Copeland & White aren't nearly big enough to play the post spot the staff needs to look at folks who can and also want to. Keep in mind also the staff has a verbal from Derrickson for 2015 who's definitely a PF as well. Rabb is a crazy prospect but he has to be recruited as a post player or conflicts will occur.. To me Noah is a better fit for the roster.. Hell, if you look at some of Noah's statements about how he's viewed as a player the staff will need to convince him too on playing the post position but it'll be a much easier sell to him than Rabb.

Rabb can play many positions. He'll likely be at either Cal, Arizona or Kentucky. He's not going to worry about who is already at the position he wants to play because no-one is keeping him on the bench.

You look at his game and you say NBA PF but he hasn’t shown a ton of ball skills and his game is still coming together. He makes most of his plays based on his absurd athleticism rather than a great overall basketball skill set No doubt if Dickerson faced Rabb he would hold his own IMO, the kid gets buckets. He gave Cliff Alexander and Jahlil 15 and 10rbs this summer. Both are better players right now than Rabb.. Ivan Rabb vs Doral Moore is an interesting discussion and Moore might be more realistic at this point considering we have seen him a few times this year already Rabb has everything the pro’s like. I'd monitor Rabb unless things heat up with him and go strong after Moore, who could a jewel in the rough or Isaiah Austin, who's a skinny joke.

although this is a long shot, i like how the staff is actually being aggressive on west coast. don't see him coming here, but our aggressive pursue in west can open that area up for us.
