Can you please elaborate on that statement, please, B&G. It means Rabb and the USA Under17 team are on an airplane that stops at one of the DC airports to get on another airplane to fly to Dubai, where the world championships are being held.

Well, I guess the tongue in cheek was lost on everyone, even our dear moderator. Thanks for the rapid fire, though.

Really hope Trier going to AZ doesn't hurt us here That was a done deal months ago....along with Ray Smith. Arizona was always going to be in the mix for Rabb...one of the few schools on the short list....still wouldn't trade places.

He sounds like someone who is his own man, but those around players have varying degrees of influence. And any idea as to who else is on the short list?

His mom very involved, he has some extended family with influence, and ultimately he's mature guy for his age and isn't easily influenced.
Outside of Arizona, Cal is well positioned IMHO.

Is it fair to say it is a three team race?

Others like UK and UNC may also have a shot. I just believe that as he shortens his list, the Hoyas will be on it till the very end.

Very end as in there's a blue and gray hat on a head, or very end in as in Nerlens Noel debacle part 2?

Very end as in there's a blue and gray hat on a head, or very end in as in Nerlens Noel debacle part 2? Y'all are never gona let that go huh? Different circumstances IMHO no handlers, mom heavily involved just gotta let this play out. BG has never predicted he would end up here but has been consistent in feeling we've got a good shot.

Very end as in there's a blue and gray hat on a head, or very end in as in Nerlens Noel debacle part 2? As good a shot as we had landing Nerlens (it was a toss up between GU and UK just days before "the decision"), I think we have a better shot with Rabb.

I think a final three of GU, Zona, and Cal sounds fairly likely and would be fine with me, as it would seem to be devoid of the outside factor$$$$$$ that could, um, influence a decision.

A better chance than with Nerlens Noel! I am going to bed. I have a headache already. Thanks, though.
