I know everyone keeps saying that the rule changes will result in more scoring and eventually the fouls will come down, but I think perhaps an unrealized side effect is it's forcing us and probably other teams to go deep into their bench often times early in the game to prevent starters from fouling out.
One of our complaints the past few seasons has been Jt3 shortens his bench during conference play but I'd like to think that the contributions he's been getting thus far will make him want to maintain that depth even if fouls come down and it's no longer a requirement.

This will team will be easily a 9 man rotation even in close games. The fouls will be an issue all season long.

For Georgetown, I think this is the effect of the rule change. I do not think it will be the same for all teams. Unfortunately, our defense does foul quite often, even with the old rules. I guess those clamoring for III to lengthen the rotation will be happy. Cameron looks to be a nice addition to help alleviate this situation.

Other than Hopkins, what contributions are people honestly seeing? Fouls, turnovers, and missed open shots?
