A somewhat painful ending to this article. A sign of the times.... Old news....there are a lot of misses to cry about. Kenny Anderson, Grant Hill, Dennis Scott, Corliss Williamson. This isn’t one of them. None of the players you mentioned actually committed to Georgetown. The article was about players who originally committed one place and then decommited and went else where to have success...

It was a different era. Given the level of interest they had, I understand it to be virtually the same.

Pretty sure Coach Orr was the coach into see the bottom 4. Otherwise Coach Waheed would be extremely gifted with the ability to be on both coasts at the same time. If he does have the ability, Ewing's not paying him enough 🤑 Wrote Waheed because I was going to focus on the WC kids and then decided to list everyone. Should have written staff. Waheed started his WC trip on the 12th. He watched '19 Xavier Johnson last Sat. Kirby watched Todd, not sure on the other 2.. Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 Boston College is expected in tomorrow for five-star junior Isaiah Todd; an official visit is scheduled for the second weekend in October to Maryland

I'm pretty sure the staff has shown interest in some players from NCA... This guy, smh... College coaches ought to put his ignorant ass out of business. Refuse to recruit his players and help them find a high school elsewhere should be the minimum effort. Between this and the Maryland football coach debacle, it is time for some people to just be put out of sports.

Refuse to recruit his players and help them find a high school elsewhere should be the minimum effort. Between this and the Maryland football coach debacle, it is time for some people to just be put out of sports. What will happen is there will be a mass exodus of players transferring and petitioning the state for immediate eligibility. The school which has already been dismissed from their conference after this news went public will close and then come back renamed something else in a year or two with a similar structure/organization. The CEO title will be changed to chairman of the board of directors or some other power position of the renamed school and they will go back to business as usual of terrorizing high school players that they bring in from all over the world. Sad but that's how some of these charter/pop up schools get down here in Florida....

Is the Bud Carrington guy leading the charge against UMD tied in as closely with Baltimore area recruits as he states (in both basketball & football)? Its insane UMD is keeping Durkin but this has the ability to tarnish their entire athletic dept. What a sad state of affairs.

This kid can flat out stroke it. 247sports.com/player/alec-grandstaff-46039478/Alec Grandstaff 2019 SG. No Hoya interest. In fact very little D1 interest right now. I’m no recruiting/talent guru so it may be a case where he isn’t athletic enough to play major D1 hoops but the kid can shoot. Plays against decent competition. Hoyas were on his brother a few years back, Alex Grandstaff, before he committed to Ohio state.

Not much of a need with Blair, Pickett and Carter who are all shooters.

Local class of 2022 kid... "Paul VI Catholic has become the springboard for some of the top college prospects in recent years and Dug McDaniel looks to be next in line. Standing at 5-foot-8, McDaniel might not pass the look test, but a glance at the final box score - 13 points, 11 assists with just three turnovers - only begins to tell the story to just how good the freshman is. McDaniel is not just a fun watch but also a productive one. George Washington and Mount St. Mary’s are the first two programs that have offered, but more are sure to come between now and 2022." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/the-evans-awards-dc-national-hoopfest
