Devonish and Hikim would slice and dice what we currently throw out there. Lack of guard play sunk our season. Former regime’s fault.

I agree with every part of this until you get to "former regime's fault". Tremont Waters and a guy you pull in from Yates would slice and dice either of those combos.

Agree on Tremont. I just don’t believe he would have come even if JT3 had stayed. Coach was not on stable footing and the season was a debacle. Plus, transfers out and more coming.

LOL... was good to see Kirby at Devonish's game. He had gotten the message and he liked what he saw. Thanks. I think we already know this and your point? Again, it was still, "in my eyes" to see coach Kirby at his game and liked what he saw.

Devonish and Hikim would slice and dice what we currently throw out there. Lack of guard play sunk our season. Former regime’s fault. For years.

Yeah they working but not enough in their own back yard. They'd better be working hard or jobs will be lost.

Yeah they working but not enough in their own back yard. They'd better be working hard or jobs will be lost. Jobs being lost is far from an issue right now. Many questioned if the staff Ewing put together would put in the work required on the recruiting trail. I don't think anyone can realistically question that now. They're not going to recruit everyone we think they should, but they are pounding the pavement for top talent they think can fit Ewing's system, a system I love btw.

St Johns junior brings a confident approach to the floor Corey Pegram @coreypegram 24h24 hours ago Jeff Dowtin listed offers from the likes of Rice, Boston U & Winthrop. Academic kid who shoots it & reads the game. So much to like. Dowtin's another local JT3 miss, lighting it up these days for Danny Hurley and Rhode Island... Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 Jeff Dowtin played second fiddle in travel ball to Markelle Fultz, in high school to Anthony Cowan & at URI to Matthews & Terrell. Should be a national name this time next year

Should be a national name this time next year Yeah, he's really good. 3 didn't recruit him but funny thing is I asked tons of people, national recruiting experts, local experts, even people on this board about this kid. Every single one of them said he was a MM..... I didn't see anybody really advocating for him to get a look. That's why I say rankings are whatever, you have to watch the guys. Everybody wants to rewrite history but if 3 would have recruited a 3 star kid ranked around 300, folks on this board, and in Hoyaland in general would have slammed him.
