Wouldn’t be mad if the staff took a look. Kid is a high level shooter and pretty athletic Ricky Council 6-4 2015 (HS SR) Position Shooting Guard Jamie Shaw, SE Region Scout Ricky Council is an elite level shooter. He hunts spots to shoot from and has deep range and great form. Has really picked up his attack game in the last year. While he used to be strictly a shooter, he now can take off the bounce to the rack. Strong build, is improving each time out. - See more at: www.verbalcommits.com/players/ricky-council#sthash.KhlHmQXd.dpuf @jamieshaw5 Marquette head coach Steve Wojciechowski will be in to see 6'4 Post Grad Ricky Council (of @moravianprep) tonight

The two players that played at a different level than everyone else were Ako Adams and Anthony Cowan. They manned the backcourt for the Thunder and took turns at both guard spots. They looked like they had been playing together for years and had an incredible chemistry together. Adams showed a nice pace to the game and more than anything showed his resolve as he overcame a slow start to knock down the game winner with just a second left on the clock. He finished with nine points for the game. Cowan showed exactly why he has offers from Maryland, Xavier and Miami, whose head coach Jim Larranaga was sitting courtside. In the first half Cowan facilitated and allowed his teammates to get a rhythm. However in the second half Cowan took over the game on both ends of the floor. He pressured the ball on defense and got into the lane at will on offense. He also knocked down a few outside shots as well as got out in transition. He finished with a game high 27 points as the Thunder won by one point. www.hardwoodinsiders.com/2014/07/adidas-super-64-day-1-recap/

With Georgetown coach John Thompson III in the stands, Joiner had a game-high 22 points and McEwen added 13. Josh Gibbs had 11 in the second half. O’Connell was led by 20 from point guard Ako Adams, whose slashing drives in the second half held off Oxford’s charge. And finally, a slew of high-level players were on the floor, from third-team All-Met guard and Central Connecticut State recruit Eric Bowles for Woodson to emerging junior recruit Ako Adams, who holds offers from Charlotte, Towson, La Salle and DePaul and has garnered interest from Georgetown, George Washington and Temple. The game did not disappoint, with the outcome hanging in the balance until the final possession as O’Connell survived in a 70-67 road win. After taking in the narrow contest and observing the plethora of prospects, here are some evaluations of players on both sides. O’CONNELL G Ako Adams, Jr. By simply being a left-handed player, Adams already creates a matchup problem for opponents. The junior further exploits this advantage with his quick first step, which allows him to slice into the lane for floaters and strong layups. Adams can both knock down the open shot and stop on a dime, rise up and connect off the dribble. Down the stretch, when the Knights were in need of a rally, Adams attacked the basket and got to the foul line several times, again finishing as the team’s top scorer with 15 points. Adams thrives in transition and is learning how to harness his speed and energetic play in the halfcourt to be an effective leader for the Knights. www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/recruiting-insider/wp/2015/01/13/ako-adams-eric-bowles-shine-on-the-hardwood-in-w-t-woodson-oconnell-matchup/

Fwiw Draft Express our out its top 100 today, the highest rated guard prospect was Ulis @ 52.. They can leave but right now they won't get drafted

How about Sacar Anim? The youngster is starting to get a lot of HM talk..
He's listed at 6-5, 190 with a 6-8 wingspan.. Scored 11.8 ppg in the EYBL this summer for Howard Pulley..
Not exactly the lead guard type I'd like to see but he can be a Jabril/Bowen type
