Edgar Walker @edgar_Walker 16h16 hours ago Can't say enough about how impressive Myles Douglas (2017 Friends) was tonight. 24pts, lockdown D, huge down stretch. High-major D1 talent.

We have to recruit this kid.. Been destroying the comp down in VA. Ranking is only going to rise, way undervalued.. St. Anne's-Belfield matched up with Collegiate last night at home in a Prep League tilt, and 2016 Javin Montgomery-DeLaurier put together yet another impressive state line, going for a triple-double (and a near quadruple-double) of 25 points, 10 rebounds, 10 steals, 7 blocks, and 4 assists. The performance included two monster dunks that are shown in the video above. We've harped on it a lot, but the guy may be the most improved player in Virginia since last high school season, and he seems to be getting even more athletic, too. - See more at: www.vantagehoops.com/news_article/show/457083?referrer_id=1102873#sthash.b2GHs8YP.dpuf@coreypegram Along w/ UVA (Bennett & Williford), ODU (Stith) also here to see 2016 Javin Montgomery-DeLaurier. STAB vs Benedictine about to tip #VaHoops @vantagehoops #VCU head coach Shaka Smart and assistant David Cason are also here at Benedictine to see STAB 2016 Javin Montgomery-DeLaurier #VaHoops

No interest from the staff, I'm just posting the info just in case he turns out to be a sleeper in the spring
Craig Randall 2015 CG 6-3+ out of Arizona via Ohio.. His HS coach is Mike Bibby..
I read where Minnesota just offered Looks like he has some skills, I like his length..
Craig Randall, Shadow Mountain — An Ohio native now in Phoenix, Randall didn’t shoot well (5-17) but applied a great deal of pressure to Scott County and helped lift his squad to a relatively easy win. Randall is a skinny, very quick shooting guard who takes advantage of his southpaw scoring attack to slice into the paint for close-in attempts. He also moves his feet well defensively and gets out into transition.

OT but crazy what these kids have to deal with.. Wishing the best for this young man and his family Money had always been scarce for the Lambs, but early in 2014 they plunged into financial free fall. Donald suffered a heart attack while working as a maintenance man at a Baltimore nursing home. He recovered after months of convalescence but didn’t get his job back. Beset by the stress of Donald’s illness and unemployment, Valerie caught walking pneumonia, which forced her to take time off from work as an EMT. The Lambs incurred more medical bills without the income to cover them. Then came a sequence all too familiar to many Americans, particularly during the recent recession: overdue notices, denied or unattainable credit, eviction, homelessness. Isaiah’s living situation exacted a price on his game, however. He missed tournaments and AAU events because the Lambs couldn’t afford the entrance fees or were on the move. How do you sign up for leagues when you don’t have a permanent address? How do you arrive at practice on time when you have to take three public buses and a subway to get to school, as Isaiah did? How do you add muscle or stay in shape when dinner often consists of a 99-cent cheeseburger or a snack from a vending machine? How do you fit into a team when you’re hiding a secret? “[Teammates] would say, ‘Hey, let’s go to your house,’ ” Isaiah recalls. “I’d make up excuses: ‘Aw, my mom’s sleeping.’ What I couldn’t tell them was that I didn’t have a home.” www.si.com/longform/homeless/

LOS ANGELES -- Kobe Bryant believes European basketball players are more skillful than American basketball players, and says it's a growing trend that can be blamed on the greed and coaching at the AAU level. "I just think European players are just way more skillful," Bryant said Friday night after the Los Angeles Lakers' 109-106 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. "They are just taught the game the right way at an early age. ... They're more skillful. It's something we really have to fix. We really have to address that. We have to teach our kids to play the right way." "AAU basketball," Bryant said. "Horrible, terrible AAU basketball. It's stupid. It doesn't teach our kids how to play the game at all so you wind up having players that are big and they bring it up and they do all this fancy crap and they don't know how to post. They don't know the fundamentals of the game. It's stupid.” espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/12114523/kobe-bryant-says-european-players-more-skilled-americans-blames-aau
